Its time to start thinking about the seasons to come. The spring bulbs are on order, the bi-annuals are going in the ground, hardy annuals are being sown and its time to start saving seeds ready for next year.
These are some specialist marigolds that I want to grow more of next year. So I am savings the seeds ready to show next spring

Drying flowers ready for some stunning natural Christmas installs. I have some great ideas for this lot.

The milk churns have been used a lot this wedding season and they are extra special arrangements using milk churns my father in law dug out for me. He used to use them for milking a long time ago and were a bit on the rusty side. My husband restored them and they now grace lots of wedding celebrations.
I love how each one is different using the best of what we have growing at the time, but tailored to each couples colour scheme.

It's been all about the biannuals in terms of sowing and potting on recently and trying to keep them alive with the super hot weather we've had.
It will soon be time to get them in the ground and start on the hardy annual sowing

Our annual open day 2026 was amazing! Thank you so much for everyone that came it was so lovely to see all of you!

If you didn’t manage to come this year there is always the next! 🌷✨

You will be able to walk round the farm, pick a jar or pickle jar 🫙 of your own. If you don’t feel like picking there will be bunches already picked for you!

Lots and lots of plants that you can take home with you and grow yourself! 🌿

There will be a large selection of pretty dried flower bunches, frames and wreaths. 💐

And do some pretty printing with Claire Rumsby. She goes through step by step with you so it is perfect for any ages! 🫟🎨
