I said goodbye to this painting on Sunday as it went off to it's new home in Kingsbridge, Devon. It's always bitter-sweet when you sell a painting and this one was my biggest yet so I was a little sad 😔

I'd painted this on an old piece of boat timber found not far from where I photographed this by the Tamar. I'm already starting work on my next painting on reclaimed boat timber... really loving working on this new canvas and painting some bigger pieces ❤️

I can't believe a year has passed since we moved to the West Country! I packed in a lot of markets and events last year, met so many wonderful artisans, traders and customers along the way... and am so greatful to everyone who took the time to give a little word of encouragement or buy a piece of my artwork ❤️ Thank you so much for your support!

I'm off to the beautiful Buckfast Abbey for the next few days for their Christmas Market 🎄 You'll be able to find me in the marquee with lots of other traders and their hand-made goodies ❤️

I'm busy painting new pieces for my upcoming Chrisrmas markets, including these two hand-painted pieces. Both original paintings have been beautifully framed by my good friend Heidi (). The wood used for the frames is reclaimed oak that was once part of a footbridge on Hayling Island... its absolutely stunning ❤️
