Another job completed and another problem solved 👌
This bathroom ceiling was in a bad way with heavy flaking and peeling paint caused by excess moisture and poor ventilation. With no working extractor fan, the steam from showering had nowhere to escape leading to long term damage.
We started by scraping back all the loose and flaking paint, followed by a full sand to get a solid base to work from. The ceiling was then sealed using Zinsser Peel Stop to stabilise the surface, before filling and sanding any imperfections.
To finish, we applied two coats of Zinsser Perma-White a high-quality, mould resistant paint designed specifically for high humidity areas like bathrooms. The result? A fresh, clean ceiling with no more peeling or flaking 🙌
We also advised the customer on installing a new extractor fan to help control moisture moving forward and prevent the issue from returning.
