NGBWoodDesigns Hello, I’m Nigel, the Chief Sawdust Maker @ NGB Wood Designs.

I’m a self taught wood worker and I have been making, designing and creating Cutting, Chopping, Serving and Charcuterie boards for friends and family for quite a few years now.

The resin stage is where every piece starts becoming completely unique.

Every pour reacts differently with the wood grain, creating patterns and movement that can never be replicated exactly the same way twice.

Handcrafted slowly. Finished intentionally.

This piece still needs to be cured, sanded and oiled but you can already see the beauty of the products from the initial pour. Keep your eyes on the website because these pieces don’t hang around for long!

I made this set of Burr Oak and translucent Midnight Blue place mats and coasters as a surprise Christmas present.

An existing customer’s daughter ordered them as a big surprise for her mum & step dad as they don’t normally do presents.

These are Emma’s (mum’s) words:
