That sound?

The resin work is almost done.

Fresh out of the mould and stacked up, these boards are starting to reveal their final character. The colours are locked in, the pour is complete, and every piece is one step closer to becoming a finished product.

There’s still sanding, shaping and oiling to come, but this is always one of the most satisfying stages of the process.

Turn the volume up and enjoy the workshop soundtrack.

Which part of the process would you like to see next?

Watch what happens when the grain gets a water pop…

The colours deepen, the character emerges, and every detail hidden within the wood comes to life. It’s a glimpse of what the board will look like once it’s been carefully finished and oiled.

This time, I paired stunning dark oak with a rich hunter green resin, and the result didn’t disappoint.

The deep green tones bring out every grain, knot and detail in the wood, creating a piece that’s both bold and timeless.

What do you think of this colour combination?

From raw materials to a finished statement piece.

A few seconds on screen. Countless decisions behind the scenes.

The process is just as important as the result.

The crack of the mould releasing, the subtle pull of the resin, and the first reveal of a handcrafted board.

No filters. No trends. Just the satisfying sounds of craftsmanship in action.

Not all furniture is made to fit a space. Some pieces are designed to define it.

Every grain, curve, and resin pour is considered with intention, ensuring no two creations are ever the same.

For those who appreciate bespoke design, exceptional materials, and furniture that becomes a conversation piece, welcome to NGB Wood Designs.

The final finish enhances every detail in the grain and brings depth back into the wood naturally.

A simple process - but one of the most satisfying parts to watch.
