Loose watercolour florals look spontaneous and effortless. But the truth is, they start with technique.

First, you need to understand water and pigment.
Also how lightly the brush needs to touch the page sometimes.
And most importantly, when to stop and let the paint move on its own.

When this clicks, the looseness starts to appear and your confidence grows.

On Saturday I’ll be teaching this at Farnham Maltings, and the workshop is now fully booked.

I’ve opened two small studio sessions next month. These workshops will be held in my home studio in Farnham and are much smaller, limited to 4 people. This means I can give you much more individual guidance and feedback as you paint.
They’re also a great follow-up if you’ve attended one of my larger workshops, as the small group will allow us to have a much more in depth and personal conversation about your art.

Booking link in my bio, spaces will go fast. 💫

Mindful Watercolour Workshop 🎨

Join me on 28 Feb at Farnham Maltings for a relaxed workshop combining guided meditation and painting.

We’ll start with a short meditation, then explore painting as a mindful practice through simple patterns and repetitive marks.

The focus is on observing the process of painting rather than controling it. We let the materials do their thing, and notice what happens on the paper: how the brush moves, how the paint reacts to water, how patterns begin to form.

All materials included, plus a watercolour kit to take home. Link to book in bio 💫

Looking at photos from 2016 made me cry. A lot. It was a really good year. It was also a really bad year. It's the year when everything changed in my life.
After this, I left interior design, the studio I co-founded, my friends and family, moved to a new country and slowly began building a life around art. Everything I share now started somewhere in these photos.
I still don't know how I had the courage to do it, but so grateful I did.

✨ Join me for a day of mindful painting, meditation & nature

Friday 12th September, 10.30am - 4.30pm

I’m so excited to invite you to spend a day with me at the beautiful Jane Austen’s House in Chawton.

Sometimes, life moves too quickly. Our nervous systems long for pause. For me, that pause is found in nature, meditation and a creative practice that is focused on rhythm and presence.

That’s why I created this workshop — a day to slow down, breathe deeply, and return to the joy of simply creating.

Tomorrow Farnham Maltings

Learn to paint in watercolour in a fun and playful way!

This workshop is pure creative play, and it's an invitation to try out something new and see where it leads you. There is no right or wrong way to do things, we will just be having some fun with paints and brushes. The gentle of repetition of patterns helps your mind become calm and clear.

You will be guided to try different patterns using easy watercolour techniques. Some are relaxing, some are playful, some are wild. Pick what you love, let go of the others, and keep on painting.

Suitable for any skill level.

Right now, my studio (fancy name for my dining table) is home to six sketchbooks - yes, six! Each one feels alive, bursting with ideas and playfulness. I’ve finally found a rhythm that works, with different sketchbooks dedicated to themes that keep calling me back. Most of them center around mindful painting, but within that, I’m exploring circles, mandalas, repetitive mark-making, and so much more. There’s even a new sketchbook where all of these elements come together, plus another one just for experimenting with fresh ideas and mediums (I call it Big Mess).
🎨
That’s a little glimpse into my creative world, how about yours? How’s creativity treating you lately?

💫NEW 💫 Monthly Women’s Creativity Circle

🌸 Starting January 9th

BOOK HERE:
https://farnhammaltings.com/events/womens-creativity-circle

I’m so over the moon about this new offering coming to life in January. I have been holding women’s circles in so many shapes and forms with my close friends over the years, but it’s my first ‘official’ one. And it brings together everything I’m most passionate about: creativity, joy, mindfulness and community. (and maybe some magic vibes once in a while 🔮, because can you really have a women’s circle without oracle cards?)

But mostly, it will be about painting together and having fun. Whether you’ve painted before or not doesn’t matter, this monthly gathering offers a safe space to express yourself, spark joy, and deepen your connection with others.

What to Expect: Guided mindful art practices, journaling prompts, moments of reflection and a sharing circle of supportive women to hold you

When: 7–8.30 PM, first Thursday of every month. (first one will be held on 9th January)

Where: Farnham Maltings

Fee: £33 per session (materials included).

Let’s gather together and allow creativity to be a gentle form of healing and discovery.
