Loose watercolour florals look spontaneous and effortless. But the truth is, they start with technique.
First, you need to understand water and pigment.
Also how lightly the brush needs to touch the page sometimes.
And most importantly, when to stop and let the paint move on its own.
When this clicks, the looseness starts to appear and your confidence grows.
On Saturday I’ll be teaching this at Farnham Maltings, and the workshop is now fully booked.
I’ve opened two small studio sessions next month. These workshops will be held in my home studio in Farnham and are much smaller, limited to 4 people. This means I can give you much more individual guidance and feedback as you paint.
They’re also a great follow-up if you’ve attended one of my larger workshops, as the small group will allow us to have a much more in depth and personal conversation about your art.
Booking link in my bio, spaces will go fast. 💫
