☀️👩‍🍳 Another fantastic Little Aprons Summer School session! 👩‍🍳☀️
What a brilliant time we had making sausage rolls and chocolate muffins!
It was amazing to see children as young as 4 years old making their own pastry and turning it into a sausage roll, such an important skill, and they did amazingly well! 👏🥰
As always at Little Aprons, we don’t just teach the children how to make something, we teach them about the ingredients they’re using too. We chatted about different types of meat, processed foods, what makes a product healthier and simple ways they can make better choices when cooking and eating.
We really believe it’s so important to give children these practical life skills from a young age, and we love that they can learn, experiment and build their confidence while having an absolutely fantastic time! ❤️

👩‍🍳✨ A lovely session at Little Aprons! ✨👩‍🍳
We had such a lovely time with our older children making corned beef plaits with puff pastry and delicious old school cornflake tarts! 😋
The children weighed out all of their own ingredients and, most impressively, made both pastries themselves, not an easy skill to master! 👏 They worked so hard and produced some absolutely fantastic final products. We’re so proud of them! 🥰

✨ What a fantastic morning! ✨

Today was our first cookery session of the year, and what a wonderful way to get back into it! It has been almost exactly a year since we last ran our classes, but it honestly felt like we’d never been away.

We had a very busy session, and it was so lovely to see everyone having such a great time. The children enjoyed making their own delicious pizzas, baking fruity upside-down cakes, and burning off plenty of energy exploring all of the toys and having fun in the sports hall.

A huge thank you to everyone who came along and made our first session back so special. Seeing so many happy faces reminded us just how much we’ve missed these classes!

We can’t wait to welcome you all back for our next session. ❤️

We’re excited to announce that our Little Aprons Cookery Club summer holiday sessions are now open for booking!

📍 Fishburn Community Centre (Youth Centre at the back)
🕥 10:30am – 1:30pm
👧 Suitable for ages 4+
👩‍🎓 Sessions taught by qualified teachers
🍪 Every child will make TWO delicious products to take home
🥣 All ingredients provided
🥤 Snacks and drinks included
🥪 Children will need to bring a packed lunch

💷 £25 per child
✅ Payment is required to secure your child’s place

📅 Available dates:
• Tuesday 21st July
• Friday 7th August
• Friday 21st August

Parents do not need to stay during the session, so you can enjoy a few hours to yourself while the children have fun cooking, creating and learning new skills!

👦👧 Depending on uptake, we will also be running a separate teen session.

Designed specifically for older children and teenagers, these sessions offer a more advanced cooking experience where participants will develop their confidence, independence and kitchen skills while creating delicious dishes from scratch.

📆Wednesday 19th August.
🕥 10:30am – 1:00pm
💷 £25 per session

✨ What to expect:
🍽️ More complex recipes and techniques
🔪 Students will prepare and cook everything themselves with guidance from qualified teachers
🥘 Make and take home two delicious products
🥣 All ingredients provided
🥤 Drinks and snacks included
🥪 Packed lunch optional

Our sessions are a great opportunity for teens to learn valuable life skills, try new foods, build confidence in the kitchen and have fun in a relaxed, friendly environment.
