🦊🍂 Meet Florence the Woodland Fox! 🍂🦊

A little something different from my craft table!

Florence is a handmade felt wall hanging, with lots of colourful autumn leaves and delicate embroidered details.

I've really enjoyed adding all the little flowers, foliage and decorative stitching, especially on her lovely bushy tail. 🪡🌸

Measuring approximately 25cm × 35cm, she's finished with a wooden hanging dowel and soft pom-pom trim.

Now available in my Etsy shop:

Hmmm I just need a few brown pieces...so looks like it's going to be a 'sorting' kinda day, 🙈😂

🍁 Autumn Gnome on Driftwood 🍁

Something a little seasonal this time — a handmade fabric gnome sitting on a piece of driftwood, surrounded by colourful felt autumn leaves and a tiny pumpkin.

I’ve used a mixture of fabric, felt, twine and natural driftwood to give him a cosy woodland feel. He measures approximately 32cm tall x 25cm wide and is ready to hang.

"King of the jungle, made from paper!”
A lion’s mane… one tiny paper curl at a time. 🦁✨
Handmade, quilled and ready to rule! 👑🌿

🦁 The Quilled King 🦁

My latest paper quilling piece — and there was certainly plenty of quilling involved in this one!

The lion has been slowly built up from lots of individually shaped strips of paper, using small coils for his face and longer pieces to create the layers of his mane. I added a few quilled flowers and trailing leaves around him for a little extra colour.

There are lots of small details that aren't immediately obvious until you look a little closer, which is probably why the close-up photograph has become one of my favourites.

Finished in a white 20cm x 20cm shadow box frame.

⚙️ The Tree of Time ⚙️

Something a little different this time — a steampunk-inspired wire tree filled with gears, cogs, clockwork details, watches and keys.

The trunk and branches have been shaped from metallic wire, with lots of individual little mechanical pieces built up to create the canopy. There are quite a few details tucked away in this one that only really show when you look closely.

Finished in a 20cm white shadow box frame.

🐋 Whale of the Blue Sea

A new little coastal piece featuring a large paper-quilled whale swimming through layers of blue waves, with real seashells along the seabed and a tiny sailing boat above.

There are lots of individually curled and shaped strips of paper in this one, particularly in the whale itself, so it took quite a while to put together — but I really enjoyed watching all the different shades of blue gradually take shape.

Finished in a 20cm x 20cm white shadow box frame.
