🎄✨ This Christmas feels different — our first without Mum and our second without Dad — but their love and joy are everywhere today. ❤️ We’re so blessed to have Scarlett, Josh here and even more special to have my nephew Philip and his wonderful husband, Omar, all the way from Australia. 🌏💕

Mum and Dad gave me the happiest childhood, filling our home with love, laughter, and more festive spirit than a tin of Quality Street could handle! 🎁✨ They taught me to embrace life with joy, resilience, and a sparkle in my heart. 🌟

While today is bittersweet, I feel so grateful for the lessons they passed on and the family they built. Their legacy is in every laugh, every hug, and every moment we share. 🥂💖

Here’s to cherishing the past, celebrating the present, and looking to the future with love, wonder, and excitement — just as they would have wanted. Merry Christmas to all, near and far! 🎄🎉

Only 8 short weeks ago I lost my beautiful Mum and 14 months ago my Pops. Losing someone close is a profound and deeply emotional experience, yet the belief in the spiritual afterlife brings a sense of peace.

Just as science tells us that matter is never destroyed, only transformed, so too does love transcend the boundaries of life and death. The energy and connection we share with those we love cannot simply fade; they continue to exist, reshaping in unseen ways.

Love, an eternal force, defies time and space, reminding us that while physical presence may be gone, the bond endures, living on in the spiritual realms and within our hearts forever.

We’ve always been an inquisitive, intuitive and spiritual family, but not deeply religious. This gift has proven time and time again, our loved ones are not gone, distinguished like a flame being blown out, but they are simply in another dimension. Every time I have asked for a sign I am rewarded with something, almost every time. I have had the most unbelievable signs which I won’t share here in case you think I’m a bit nuts but they are so beautiful, meaningful and crazy I have no doubt that the afterlife exists.

For those of you who can relate, I’d love to know what signs, synchronicities, messages, visions and dreams you’ve had. I continue on my spiritual journey with love and wonderment❤️

The meanest chicken wings!

I’ve been experimenting with all kinds of marinades and dry rubs in the air fryer as our fam has a very unhealthy obsession with crispy chicken wings. They are soooo moreish and are great for a rustic informal one plate starter.

This time I’ve used a yoghurt recipe and marinaded for about two hours. Overnight would be even better. They turned out absolutely delish!

Here’s what I used:

2kg trimmed wings
3/4 cup yoghurt
1/2 Tbsp Smoked paprika
3/4 tbsp light brown sugar
1/2 tsp White pepper
1/2 tbsp Salt
3/4 tsp chilli powder
3/4 tsp Cumin
1/4 tsp Thyme
1/4 tsp Oregano
1/2 tbsp Onion salt
1/2 tsp Garlic granules

Cook at 190 for approximately 20 minutes turning half way through. Garnish with lime quarters and chopped corriander.
