Time to fire up the kiln! All but 2 are pots that customers have made when they've come to enjoy learning to throw pottery on my Ancient style kickwheel. And now that they've all been glazed it's time to fire them and then see how they come out! Very exciting!

New pots going into the kiln. On the top shelf are several large custom pots that I'm quite nervous about so I'm going to fire the kiln verrry slowly. The reason is because the pots are at their most brittle stage right now but about to go thru their biggest change from clay into ceramic. 🤞🏼 Next step (if hopefully they all survive) will be glazing 🖌🎨

I am SOOO excited for this baby bump bowl.. can't wait to see pics of the baby laying inside it after he's born!!! Oh my goodness!!!!

If you haven't seen the first step, this piece was made by placing a slab of clay over her baby bump at 9 months pregnant. So she will always have this bowl made from the shape of her baby bump 🥰
