Thanks to my lovely neighbour Anna Louise for a rare pic of me manning my stall. We had a fab late night shopping evening and enjoyed w**e and homemade cheese straws courtesy of our show co ordinator extraordinaire Bev. Lots of friendly visitors through the doors and really nice to see so many young couples and children out enjoying the event too. It’s our last day today, here until 3 pm. Thank you all

The Rockbourne Early Christmas Fair… the doors have just opened for the beginning of our three day show! A gorgeous early morning autumnal drive through the Wiltshire countryside and I’m very happy to be here in my element with my Winter decorations

I’m back in the workshop today after spending a week with my beloved Mum who has been celebrating a very special birthday. We have put what is left of the Floral Summer stock carefully into hibernation ready for Soring 27 and now I can’t believe I’m preparing for the first of this year’s Winter shows already … where does the time go?!!
Last year was my first visit to the incredible Rockbourne Early Christmas Fair, I was made so welcome by Bev and her team and and met up with lots of interesting exhibitors all with detailed and beautifully put together displays; a chance too to meet up with friendly visitors from beautiful, historic Salisbury, and lots of my lovely online customers from the surrounding areas who came along to browse and shop.
Did you know that a percentage of our sales also goes towards the Salisbury Hospital Stars Appeal Charity too? The fundraisers were so supportive of us all last year and being part of such a great cause really created a vibrant and positive atmosphere throughout the fair.

I now have a busy week ahead preparing my display and making sure I have plenty of gorgeous decos to sell!

Not made by me ( I’m the worst at ceramics and have only ever created total disasters in clay!), however I wanted to share this gorgeous cutie who came home with me earlier in the Summer. It was a real treat to meet his good humoured and talented maker Andrew Stott at Taunton Flower Show and I couldn’t resist bringing this cutest Walrus charm home with me.
Today finally unpacking him as I am frantically tidying my house in readiness for the arrival of my dearest Mama who is arriving shortly from Yorkshire to celebrate her 80th birthday . It will be so nice to see her as life has been so busy and set to get busier still with trade orders awaiting my attention and seasonal group shows imminent … hopefully we will have a little sunshine to enjoy a few days before deco making takes over again!

Getting Autumn ready… one of my favourite seasons to paint, and so lovely to get reacquainted with some familiar characters again - hello Fox, hello Squirrel 🐿️ and hello Toadstools and Sleepy Moons… I’ve been busy working through orders and keeping the lovely galleries I work with topped up, then these little guys will be coming along to the weekend markets with me and hop, skip, and jumping onto my website shortly

The first of my Autumn shows next weekend with the Creative Makers Market over in Bradford on Avon. Held in the very atmospheric Holy Trinity Church, this is a wonderful, friendly market with a great variety of contemporary craft on display

If you can’t make Saturday I will be back at The Magpie, Cheese & Grain Bar, Frome on Sunday too - looking forward to catching up with all my favourite Froomies there…. Here with my mini ‘flower theatre’ at Dunster Show ..oh my goodness I haven’t had chance to take a pic of the gorgeous castle yet that overlooks the showground but as always I’m very happy to be at this warm and friendly show.
Lots of visitors arriving and browsing, and lots of well behaved, fluffy doggos to make a fuss of too.

This is my last show of August before I take some time out to start designing my Winter decs and display.

Opening times below for our fantabulous Somerset Collective Pop Up at Hestercombe House and Gardens 🌸

The shop at Hestercombe Gardens has been open for 10 days and it's been eventful! I've taken in stock, expanded the range, rearranged the furniture, met some lovely people from the local area and holidaymakers from around the UK, Germany, Ireland and the US, and enjoyed a couple of really special walks around the gardens (50 acres of paradise)...

It's a privilege to be able to showcase the work of Somerset and South West artists and makers in this beautiful setting, and to see many happy purchases going off to people's homes, or destined to be gifts for friends and family. We've got greeting cards, gift wrap, notebooks, soaps and beauty products, baby clothes, jewellery, mugs, coasters, wooden kitchenware, tea towels, cushions, artwork, candles, handbags, scarves, willow bird feeders and baskets, award winning c***r, and so many gorgeous home decorations!

If you're looking for a unique gift for someone, or for yourself, come and visit us in the wooden hut, just off the car park. On Fridays and Saturdays we also have bunches of fresh flowers for you to pick up for the weekend from Bramble & Wild
