The first of my Autumn shows next weekend with the Creative Makers Market over in Bradford on Avon. Held in the very atmospheric Holy Trinity Church, this is a wonderful, friendly market with a great variety of contemporary craft on display

Our host Katie is also an active maker and boat dweller - give her a follow and find out more about her floating, botanical themed business over on instagram

If you can’t make Saturday I will be back at The Magpie, Cheese & Grain Bar, Frome on Sunday too - looking forward to catching up with all my favourite Froomies there…. Here with my mini ‘flower theatre’ at Dunster Show ..oh my goodness I haven’t had chance to take a pic of the gorgeous castle yet that overlooks the showground but as always I’m very happy to be at this warm and friendly show.
Lots of visitors arriving and browsing, and lots of well behaved, fluffy doggos to make a fuss of too.

This is my last show of August before I take some time out to start designing my Winter decs and display.

Opening times below for our fantabulous Somerset Collective Pop Up at Hestercombe House and Gardens 🌸

The shop at Hestercombe Gardens has been open for 10 days and it's been eventful! I've taken in stock, expanded the range, rearranged the furniture, met some lovely people from the local area and holidaymakers from around the UK, Germany, Ireland and the US, and enjoyed a couple of really special walks around the gardens (50 acres of paradise)...

It's a privilege to be able to showcase the work of Somerset and South West artists and makers in this beautiful setting, and to see many happy purchases going off to people's homes, or destined to be gifts for friends and family. We've got greeting cards, gift wrap, notebooks, soaps and beauty products, baby clothes, jewellery, mugs, coasters, wooden kitchenware, tea towels, cushions, artwork, candles, handbags, scarves, willow bird feeders and baskets, award winning cider, and so many gorgeous home decorations!

If you're looking for a unique gift for someone, or for yourself, come and visit us in the wooden hut, just off the car park. On Fridays and Saturdays we also have bunches of fresh flowers for you to pick up for the weekend from Bramble & Wild

Our Somerset Collective pop up gift shop opens at Hestercombe House and Gardens tomorrow the 1st August and will run right through to the end of October

Our amazing director Sally has put everything together beautifully and I am chuffed to bits to have a selection of my work available again at one of my favourite places in the county. At the moment we are opening on Fridays and Saturdays ( with maybe a few extra dates as the Summer progresses). Later in the year we will be returning for a new Christmas Market too which I am already planning my display for! Tickets for the market will also be on sale with Sally at the pop up shop, and online too from the Hestercombe website

I’m enjoying a sunny weekend in the glorious surrounds of Rookesbury Park in beautiful Hampshire. Here in the main house with The Garden Shows today until 5pm and Sunday until 4pm; the site is absolutely gorgeous, and the house deliciously cool and airy ( could happily move in!)

Buttercups have been having a moment at the recent shows. It has always been one of my favourite flowers - I love pretty much every member of the Ranunculus family, so I’ve been working on some additional small hanging decorations which will be available online soon and on display at the forthcoming Garden and Flower Shows. A joy to work with such a warm and cheerful colourway, hoping they also bring some joy to your morning ( a few Blue tinged Daisies too!)

Summer days mean it’s time for my Monsieur Lobsters to make an appearance. I’ve been making these little guys since 2021 and it’s always a pleasure to revisit them

Once the detailed stripes have been applied they will each be given a set of rosy cheeks before heading off for their new homes c/o the fabulous in sunny Lyme Regis

I’ll also be at the Magpie Market in Frome this Sunday so may pop a few on my stand too for any passing lobster fanciers out for the day - looks like being a gorgeous weekend

It’s my last day here at RHS Rosemoor. Thanks to all who have braved the searing heat to visit and to George who has been refreshing the exhibitors with ice lollies!

I managed only a very brief run round the gardens with my camera as the heat was making me dizzy and so bright that I rather had to just point, shoot and hope for the best! Hopefully today will be a little cooler for us all across the UK and here in these beautiful gardens
