I'm so delighted to feel part of the Iolla story, I've been wearing their glasses (not exclusively) for 9 years and here is my latest batch!

What I love about them is their huge range of styles at transparent really reasonable price points, and they're Scottish!

All with their new Advanced Varifocal Lenses which have definitely improved the naturalness of my vision as I now need both long and short sighted assistance 🤓

1- Ferguson in Slate

Both with light responsive lenses which has been game changing, not switching specs all the time and having to carry a pair in my bag is just amazing

Reminiscing about a wonderful day out in London a few weeks ago, starting at Tate Modern we looked at the free exhibitions, it's so fantastic that they have so much that everyone can enjoy

Too many to mention but we loved Babel 2001 by CILDO MEIRELES
The kinetic work by NALINI MALANI
The sound installation in the Tank by Nora Chipaumire

Then we walked along the Thames to Tate Britain with the specific aim of going to the now finished Hurvin Anderson exhibition, a total contrast with lushly painted canvases evoking memory & identity but also community joy & the power of nature

I love both of these buildings, one my mother took me to as a child, the other I took my own children to. Both always surprise & delight.

I think we can all sometimes feel too busy to wander slowly round a gallery but every time I do my soul feels fuller and I make a new resolution to make more time for the simple contemplation of art
