A wise client whose family I have done work for for 13 years is putting her house on the market for sale next week and she asked me to improve the initial kerb appeal - she is over the moon and 1st impressions for potential buyers is massively improved, project included driveway complete refurbishment and re-sanding, facia board & garage door cleaning and general front of house tidy up - good luck with the sale 😊

Just arrived in the workshop, 2 chairs & table with huge sentimental value to the owners as their son hand made them when he was 18 but after many years of use they are in desperate need of some love & attention - Jane Bick Interiors are managing the project and reupholstering the seat pads & back rests and my part is to repair the damaged leg & arm joints and completely renovate the wood back to life - I love this kind of project, check back in a few weeks time for the final result 😊

That’s the end to another crazy week 😵‍💫, looking forward to another hugely varied week ahead including lots of blinds to install, a shower to silicone, a sticking front door to resolve, broken dishwasher brackets to investigate, a near dead block paving driveway to clean & re-sand, 2 really cool oak barn style sliding doors to install, a shed roof to re-felt & another day at the Cotswold Manor House which always brings some surprises 😂

Day 6 at the Cotswolds Manor House today - my clients asked if we could start the day clearing out a loft space they had only just discovered including an old birds nest so I could finish the boarding of the floor at the far end - easy I thought won’t take long, not my normal type of work but they are great clients so yes happy to help - this is what I discovered 😱😱😱 must of been a bird from Jurassic Park 😂- I’ve never seen anything like it, a 3m solid mass of sticks, brambles bird poo & loft Insulation, glad that’s over and ready for boarding another day, normal creative days with them to resume next week with furniture & artwork projects
