Had a lovely visit to our local Wildflower Farm at the weekend, the fields look glorious at this time of year.
It’s what I had in mind when I designed my summer meadow tea light and picture
And the bees seem to love it.
If you’re in the area I very much recommend a visit, they do amazing breakfasts and lovely cake and they are fab at catering for gf and vegan. And as extra entertainment you can watch the skydivers land next door. What more do you need on a Sunday afternoon?

💙Today is a blue moon, quite a rare occurrence as it’s when there are 2 full moons in any one month.
The next one is not until New Year’s Eve 2028!
Anyway it gives me the opportunity to show off some of my favourite makes in blue glass!
These are just a few, as I’m sure you know I do love blue glass!

Happy Thursday! How is your week going? I admit I’m melting, consequently I’ve been having a slow week, but I got these finished and photographed yesterday.
Introducing the Birdies, these adorable fused glass birds are the perfect companion to a flower pot or can hang indoors.
If you’re like me, you’re missing the cute little birds in the garden since we were told by the RSPB to not feed them over the summer.
So I thought I’d make some to pop in the garden.
My colours were inspired by the birds that used to visit me, blue tit, gold finch, green finch and I couldn’t resist a pink one. Maybe flamingo?? 🤔😆
Do you like to decorate your garden? Or would you hang one indoors?

I make a number of memorial items. Including everlasting flowers which can be personalised with a loved ones name. Perfect for planting by a memorial tree or even on a grave

Thought I’d do a quick post to welcome all the new followers.
Hi 👋, I’m Emma a fused glass maker from Nottinghamshire, UK.
I first fell for fused glass 8 years ago as I love the vibrancy of the colours and how it sparkles in the light.
I’m very inspired by an English country garden and also the beach, my happy places. In fact I first really started making as a way of creating art pieces for my garden, as I love all year round colour.

Popped into the lovely gift shop yesterday to restock my everlasting flowers and drop some new lines for summer.
Cute birdies and a pink and purple wreath
The birdies can be hung indoors or outdoors on a metal stake that is an optional extra - more pictures later ☺️
Why not pop in if you’re in the Newark area? Lots of lovely handmade goodies.
I walked away with some car coasters! Who even knew they were a thing?!? I didn’t but they are a great idea to stop the drinks holders in the car getting scuzzy!
