Hmm, seen to have found the big brother to the smaller one I posted earlier ..... nice tho .... cool piece with built in lamp that works fine. Shows some signs of wear but still looks good .... got that Atomic/space age vibe about it ...

After a month off recharging the batteries (swanning around really) we're back for the first of 4 fairs this month all with the superb Midcentury Markets crew. Starting at the great church venue Left Bank in Leeds. If you've not got tickets to get in yet it may be worth looking as this show always is packed. Don't be left waiting to get in as plenty of traders at this one so get in and have a Sunday mooch. But stuff you never knew you needed until you saw it 😉

Had planned to stay off social medias until August was done but bit of downtime and going through some stuff recently in to TVC stockroom I thought I'd do a quick set up and drop some pics. Just over a week away from first of the September mad rush at Left Bank, Leeds with the Midcentury Markets crew. All these things hopefully going there but get in touch if there's something you need now 😎

Seems you can't switch off from the buy & sell of the vintage world. Meant to be doing nothing but somehow, as Jesse from Fast Show would say, this week I've been mainly buying tables ... 😁 ... nice ones tho ... picked up pair of early 00s IKEA Ulsberg tables. Originally bed side tables I think these can be side tables in any room, nice plant & light on them. Then we have a classic McIntosh nest with swivel top large table. Also picked up a small tiled table, no markings but think it may be Danish circa 1980s? And then finally, the pièce de rèsistance an Eileen Gray E1207 industrial look glass screen de table 👌🏻

No shows until September so if anything catches your eye just DM for details 👍🏻

Well, good day in London selling at Midcentury Markets debut in the city at the Canada Water venue. Big space, lots of footfall ... could be another great venue for the MCM crew and traders. Loads of pieces went out to new homes and that's great to see, so thanks to all the buyers and people that stopped by and bought or just admired the stock.

That's it now for TVC ... next show is with MCM back at their superb Leeds venue, Left Bank on 6th Sept. So everything now tucked away in the stockroom until then. There may be some additions in between tho 🤔😁😉

Bit of space age landed yesterday in the TVC stockroom .... superb 1970s AB Fagerhults (Sweden) 'Cobra' floor standing lamp. Superb piece, works perfectly, some small cracks as shown in the photos but for over 50 years old, I can live with that ..... in fact, I may just do that, keep it and live with it ... so funky & iconic of the space era ... 😎

So, having spent the morning loading the van for tomorrow I decided on a last minute purchase .... and here they are, a pair of orange base Lampan lights from IKEA. The coloured ones are pretty rare so finding a pair is great.

Both will be with me 2mrw at Nottingham.
