Last post for a while as I'm heading out to spend some time in the sun celebrating a milestone birthday. So here's my November tour dates .... maybe see you at one of these ... now, where's my sunglasses 🤔 .... 😎☀️🍹

Next up on TVC tours is back to The Nest, Nottingham (part of Notts County's ground). Been 2 great fairs there so far this year, will this be the hat trick for Midcentury Markets .... come down and see ... 😉

Bit of a change from the tables & lights been posting lately ... visited a new antiques fair in Stamford, not a lot for a vintage dealer but found this ornate French 1960s silver plated with red stones picture frame. Few little dings but otherwise a great thing. Ideal present for someone, or perfect frame for a beloved picture. 7" x 5.5" ... DM if need it now, can be posted ... 😉

Take a 1980s Italian chrome frame table, add a pendant lamp that's been switched to a table lamp and a plant that's somehow (in this house anyway) still alive and flowering and there you go .... a nice little set up for any home in the dark nights ... 😀

So, recently added this pair of 1970s Italian brass side tables with smoked glass. Noticed the holes on the back section so clearly something was missing. A quick you-know-what search brought up a pair with the spindles I was missing in situ. Ok, no chance I'll find those so sell as is ... then I noticed the sellers price .... 😳 .... I know, it's the internet, they're in Denmark .. yada yada yada, so not really a true reflection of their value (but it only needs one person happy to pay it 😉) .... anyway, mine won't be anywhere near that and will be with me at next Mid Century Market fair in Nottingham on 8th November. 😁

Well, after an amazing day yesterday at St Andrews Hall in Norwich selling, today is downtime and start to think about replacing the 31 items 😳 that went out to new homes yesterday. Well supported by residents of Norwich & surrounding areas.

Another great venue in the Midcentury Markets stable, look forward to going back there. Well done guys, great addition to your portfolio.

See you there if you can work it out ... 🫪😎😆

Few new items added to TVC stock in last 24 hours. Nathan Trinity table, MCM teak mag rack and a possibly Danish teak lamp base with a spun fibreglass shade I had added to it. Tomorrow I'll be playing with teak oil mostly .... 😁

Looking through some pics this morning and realised I had a fair few from customers of their purchases from me in situ. Always nice to see so thought I'd pop a few up. Pic 1 is a tidal map. Pic 2 small inlaid table. Pic 3 is the chairs, the Kartell unit and the bar unit. Pic 4 large Ambassador painting. Pic 5 chrome side table. Pic 6 small plastic shade lamp. Pic 7 Atomic table with spun fibreglass shade. Pic 8 Danish tiled table. Pic 9 Adri tiled table. Pic 10 pair of building diagrams.

Good to know they're all living a 2nd life as much loved pieces of someone's home ... 😁

Picked up this stylish Umbra brushed metal ribbons clock a few weeks ago. The mechanism had given up the ghost so needed replacing so it went in the 'to do' pile. Finally got round to it today, swapped in a new mechanism, kept the funky red hands and now it's happily ticking away. Will be with me at Norwich next Sunday but feel free to DM if interested.
