Business Milestone Met! 💫

I am absolutely thrilled to share that I feature as a Local Legend in the August issue of magazine! 📖 This is a huge business bucket-list moment for me.

It's wonderful to have Willow & Duck recognised in this way. The Local Legend feature goes a long way in supporting and championing Essex's thriving small business community and I am really proud to be part of it.

A huge thank you to and the team at Essex Life for this incredible spotlight. 🤍

Looking back at the evolution of Willow & Duck, from pet portrait commissions, to craft fairs, charity events, and hosting local children’s art classes, I am filled with gratitude.

To all my past and present clients: this was all possible because of you!
Thank you for trusting me 🎨✨

This mornings children's art class was absolutely brilliant. So many different techniques were practiced today and what a brilliant array of artistic styles were explored as seen in the finished paintings.

I wanted to post lots of photo's because I was so blown away by the fantastic effort that the kid's put in, it was a pleasure and delight teaching them.

Massive well done!!!

These two joy filled classes were the last ones of the school year, as we break for the summer holidays, but everyone got to take a little gift away for being so amazing and they all have a bit of homework over the holidays too! So keep practicing what we have learnt over the past year and send me those pics!

A huge thank you for all the parents that have sent your children to my classes, they really have done you proud with their creativity and hard work.

Have a brilliant summer holiday and we'll be back in the fall, the first of which will be Sunday 13th September 💥

Meet Jessie - isn't she a beauty. This hand painted rendition was completed with a photo reference.

I have added a couple of progress images but I really must remember to take more but it does give a flavour of the layering and depth that goes into realistic renditions.

Truly pleased with the finished portrait and so grateful for the opportunity to paint Jessie.

Winsor Newton acrylic paint was used on Clairfontaine 360gsm acid free paper, mounted on A4 acid free mount.

This portrait is now proudly with its owner, a very special gift from my amazing client that commissioned this work.
