Fun and games in London with the Gutsy Girls (Take 2) before I knuckle down with the South East Artists (SEAS) Open Studios in June.

A full repeat of the Sardinian sweat and sass climbing up the O2 in 32 degrees and drinking plenty of Prosecco and eating good food with friends. What a super bunch of gals - a super chilled and hilarious long weekend.

On Friday I visited the SEAS Exhibition Bar inside the The Astor Community Theatre, Stanhope Rd, Deal.

Deirdre Kashdan is showing her work there throughout this month of May.

Called the MISSING PROJECT, she is developing this participatory project still further, and is inviting people to get involved, through workshops as well. Looking at Mental Health issues and how it can affect many different people, in and around those who are directly suffering with reflections on the visual and audio work seen and heard.

It’s was profound being in the room. This video was with no one else there.

Visit if you can.

Sometimes Instagram is so perfect., but topics that inspire us to make our art isn’t always so perfect. The work in progress continues for YOU ARE ENOUGH; egg 2 for the Egg-hibition for that happened last month. These issues need to be talked about.
People need to be heard, listened to and believed.
