🏌️‍♂️🤩⛳️Restoring the heart and heritage of the The Halifax Golf Club.

Behind cupboard doors and tucked away in storage were pieces of the club’s history waiting to be rediscovered. Beautiful vintage gold clubs and old books, some dating back to the early 1800s, that had long been forgotten. Rather than packing them away again, we incorporated them into our design.

The books are now proudly on display for members and visitors to enjoy, and the vintage clubs have been carefully incorporated as decorative features throughout the clubhouse. It’s these authentic details that give a space real character, you simply can’t recreate that kind of history.

The interior palette was chosen to reflect the club’s heritage. Rich, deep greens, dark wood finishes and luxurious leather create a timeless, welcoming feel, while the new opulent statement chandeliers add warmth, elegance and just the right amount of grandeur. Every design decision was made to respect the building’s past while creating a space that feels fresh, refined and built to stand the test of time.

For me, great interior design isn’t just about making a space look beautiful and comfortable. It’s about understanding a building’s history, preserving what makes it special, and creating an environment that people genuinely enjoy spending time in.

I think the clubhouse now tells the story of Halifax Golf Club as it should have always been told.
