From empty and disconnected to warm, elegant and beautifully considered ✨
When we first saw this room, it wasn’t tired or dated, it simply felt bare, empty and unfinished. SCROLL TO SEE THE BEFORE PICS!
Our client had actually been nervous about adding more furniture because she didn’t want the room to feel cluttered. But by keeping the furniture to a minimum, the opposite had happened. There were large areas of dead space, the layout felt disconnected, and the space never quite felt right. She didn’t know where to begin and that’s why she contacted us.
We reassured her that furnishing a room properly doesn’t mean filling it. It’s about choosing the right pieces, in the right proportions, and positioning them in a way that creates balance, flow and purpose.
She trusted us to completely rethink the space, and we took care of everything.
We introduced new furniture and carpet, reconsidered the lighting, added beautiful layered window dressings, and built up the scheme with artwork, cushions, greenery and carefully selected accessories.
The soft palette of cream, taupe and warm neutrals, complemented by subtle metallic details, brought warmth and sophistication, while the additional furniture actually made the room feel more balanced and complete rather than cluttered.
The difference is incredible. 🤍
What was once a room with lots of empty, unused space now feels warm, inviting, cohesive and beautifully finished, but most importantly, our client absolutely loves it!
Thank goodness she trusted the process!
It’s a perfect example of why less isn’t always more. Sometimes a room simply needs the right pieces, in the right places, with the right layers to finally come to life.
