Around this time a couple of years ago, I roped Vas into adding brick slips to our fireplace just in time for Christmas & to this day, the transformation still blows me away! If you’ve been considering doing the same, take this as your sign. You won’t regret it. Make sure to save for reference & let me know if you have any questions!

*If you’d like the links to my fireplace brick slips, mortar, bioethanol stove, etc. comment SHOP below & I’ll send them directly to your DMs. I also created a step-by-step guide on our fireplace makeover which can be found under my ‘Fireplace’ highlight.

ad Who knew a £10 roll of window film could bring so much magic to a room? Ari’s nursery has always been my favourite room in our home, but the view overlooking the houses behind us has always bothered me, especially knowing it was something I couldn’t change. This rainbow window film from was the perfect solution, adding privacy, whimsy & a beautiful array of dancing rainbows. Applied with just water, this simple yet effective little change has brought so much joy whilst solving a problem I’d been feeling helpless about. All the rainbows for my rainbow baby! 🌈

Groundbreaking, I know 🙊

I share this message every November & this year is no different. As we step into the festive season, a time that’s both wonderfully exciting & at times, overwhelming, I want to set the tone.

I’ve started sharing holiday content for a couple of reasons. Growing up, we always put our tree up in November to stretch out the season & make the magic last for as long as possible. Now, with our own little one joining us, I’d love to carry on this tradition. Over the years, I’ve also experienced seasons of profound grief & nothing lifts my spirits quite like decking the halls.

As a content creator, my goal is to inspire you, so when you feel ready to decorate your own home, you’ll have ideas to look back on. That said, I never want anyone to feel pressured to spend money or to completely overhaul their decor. You absolutely don’t need to start fresh every year. If you do feel tempted by something new, I encourage you to go through what you already own - sell, donate, repurpose & thrift items where you can. That’s exactly what I do!

I know the holidays can bring up a lot of emotions, beautiful & heavy alike, so give yourself & others a little extra grace this season. More than anything, I hope you feel inspired by my content, never pressured. Here’s to a season that sparks joy, however you choose to celebrate.

Love you, mean it ❤️
