We had the saddest week as we said goodbye to our beautiful Pippin. She was with us through thick and thin - travelling all the way to Australia and back for our time in Sydney. But she was happiest in Hampshire walking along the river in Wi******er and hoarding shoes in her bed at home. She was a real family pet, looked after and loved by us all. On the downside - she had a habit of eating foul things and incensed us all by burying our shoes in the garden - sometimes not to be found for months! As well as a penchant for chasing pheasant in Hampshire and lizards in Australia and going AWOL on occasion. But these were small faults and she was the kind of dog you may only be lucky enough to have once in a life time.
To dog lovers out there - you will understand - she had character, presence and life feels diminished without her.
I hope she is in Devon (doggy Heaven) chasing that pheasant bounding through a field of hay - ears flying in the breeze. We love you and miss you Pippin 💕💕
