What a treasure in the compost heap 🙂 yesterday I spent all day at the allotment. I have decided to see to the compost heat that grew over with weeds.
Got some fantastic looking potatoes from it 😂🥔🥔 ended up filling 10 litre bucket with them lol

First Asparagus harvest this spring. Very early, not had any until June last year.
Had twice as much. Some vanished on the way home already. It's so good I never get a chance to cook it. All gets eaten raw straight from the bed 🙂

Used leeks from the garden and our homemade bacon.

Second one will be made today. Will go on the garden hunt to see what we can use as a filling. Leeks spring in mind as number 1 contender 🙂
