These pieces focus on the change in the season as we shifted from summer into autumn. Golds returned to green, greens tuned to beautiful oranges, and the countryside remained alive with inspiration and a place of pure joy 🥰

Back down in Devon for a little while working on my second Devon Collection for the Dart Gallery dropping early 2027. Dodging the storm finding little pockets of dry amongst the rain 😅☔
Big skies, energetic seas... I can sense the drama already 🌊 💨 🌤️

Into The Woods 🔴
Continuing this week's highlights of pieces that found their forever homes with thanks to our Stoke Row Pop-Up Exhibition 🥰🙌
Looking back to spring, when the woodlands were alive with Bluebells 💙 💜 There's no better way to capture the magic of our ever changing landscape than to experience and work from it directly.
I'm so greatful to say all of this years bluebell pieces have now found their homes (so watch this space for spring 2027 if you're after one of your own!)

JOY 🔴
I don't know about you, but for me there's always an element of joy in being able to get out and paint in the British Countryside. Even if the day isn't 'perfect' there's always something to harvest and let influence the work. Misty clouds become hazy purple bursts of colour in the sky. Dewy fields come ablaze when the light hits. Autumnal treelines are sining with deep rich tones.
I'm looking forward to seeing where this autum continues to take me.... 🍂

There are a handful of places that are super important in my practice, and this spot in the Hambleden Valley is the one that holds the most.
It's where my love affair with en plein air painting began, and one that I find myself returning to time and time again. Not only to watch the land change, but also to see my work evolve and grow.
