WOW, what a day! 😂🌸

A mad dash across Merseyside to grab flowers from one of my wholesalers after my Dutch delivery got stuck in customs… thankfully, it should finally arrive this evening! 🤞🏼🇳🇱

But we got there in the end, and just look at this beauty! 💐 Created for the lovely Rosie, who left L A T E R A L today. It sounds like she’s been there from day one and will be very much missed, so the lads wanted to send her off with a little thank-you bunch. 🥹🩷

Then there was a delivery that didn’t quite go to plan 🥴😂 …but thankfully, the flowers were loved!

Tomorrow is a new day, right?! 🙌🏼

These are the moments, as a florist, when I feel truly honoured to do what I do. 🤍

My client Julian recently lost his father. When I first opened my shop a few years ago, Julian was one of my very first customers. He treated himself to one of the little vintage terracotta pots I sell — and very quickly became a regular.

He also very kindly, and with incredible detail and talent, created my name in Japanese writing. I was so touched by this and still have it in the shop to this day. 🥹

When Julian came to me and asked if I would create a wreath for his father’s farewell, I knew it had to be something incredibly personal.

His dad absolutely adored his garden, so it felt only right to take cuttings from his own garden and weave them throughout an extra-large wreath — bringing a little piece of something he loved so much with him.

Alongside the garden foliage were 50 beautiful red roses, chosen by his wife to celebrate their 50 years of marriage. ❤️

Flowers can say so much when words simply aren’t enough.

It’s moments like this that remind me how incredibly privileged I am to be trusted with such precious and emotional occasions.

Hold your loved ones a little closer. Cherish the people in your life. Tell them you love them. And never, ever take the people you love for granted. 🤍
