Let's talk jacket spuds..
Such a versatile dish.. but time consuming unless you buy the microwave ones which ate FAB if your pushed for time..
But for me personally I love a good home baked potato crispy on the outside and as fluffy as the clouds inside... I achieve this everytime by using the microwave and the air fryer.. here's how...
Stab your spud a few times with a fork and pop her in the microwave for 5 mins each side!
Now while she's softening up get yourself a good square of kitchen foil and place your spud in the middle once it's done in the microwave.
Now grab your olive oil (you can use any oil for this but I would advise olive oil for better results) and pour around 5 tablespoons over the spud.
Now season it up baby, personally I go in with a good amount of salt and pepper, some garlic granules and some onion granuals.
Now roll it roll it baby, make sure your spud is evenly coated in this delicious mixture!
Wrap your spud in the foil with that oily mixture and pop her in the airfryer for 20mins each side.
When she comes out she will be PERFECTLY soft fluffy and crispy on the old jacket😍
Just DELIGHTFUL! Give it a go and let me know in the comments how that works for you!!🙏✌🏼
Now let's talk toppings...
For me personally it has to be a generous amount of proper butter.. marg just won't cut it.. plenty of cheese and beans and a good helping on red onion and spring onions over the top😍
What do you like on yours??
