I love it all but number 6 holds a special place in my heart!

1 & 2- my latest purchase and one of only 2 originals I’ve ever bought. I have been so excited to own this painting by the fantastic has finally found its place in our bedroom. I want to get a plant for my dressing table as I think that’ll really set it off. (And I’ve now managed to keep 2 house plants alive for a year so I’m allowed another one!)

3- I bought this print in Dubrovnik on holiday, I have no idea who the artist is but I loved it so much I dragged my husband back down 400 stairs to go and buy it. (I was 6 months pregnant at the time so it was an effort for me too!)

4- a collection of paintings bought from street artists on our honeymoon (alongside the Dubrovnik print). I’m a big fan of street artists, and I know a lot of people will call it a con but I want to support anyone doing something creative.

5- I fell in love with this cyanotype by the fantastic at a show that I was in. It somehow didn’t sell so I bought it off her when the show finished. It goes perfectly with my yellow and blue bathroom!

6/ 7- this is one of the first prints I bought for our new home. The original by is enormous, and the detail is absolutely breathtaking. I had to take something away from the show. And it hangs in pride of place in my living room.

7/8- lastly is this wonderful map print of Hillingdon by I love the different typefaces and the way they fit the shape of the map. This is the only map I have on display other than ones I’ve painted myself!

So this is me…

If you like what you see why not follow me- I could really do with some new followers to help get my work out there.

If you don’t, then oh well, nobody is for everyone!

And if you’re looking for beautiful art maps to brighten up your home then look no further 😉

What do you prefer? Are you in the no text camp?

I hand write every map, for that extra personal touch. My personal favourites have been quotes from Winnie the Pooh and the pictured collection of surnames, symbolising a family coming together.

The text you choose can make all the difference, so do reach out if you have an idea you want to discuss.

From that first sale to looking ahead to starting a new job.

Trying to get this small business going has been a wild ride. And I’ve loved it.

But I’m finding it hard right now to know which direction I’m going in next.

I just want to paint and enjoy the time I have before I’m back at work 🫣

I always forget to post about this.

Some of my favourite paintings to make are silhouettes of people’s wedding portraits. A beautiful way to capture your special day. Overlaid on a map of your wedding location (or wherever you choose). Colours of your choice.

Have you done anything with your wedding photos yet?

DM me to get started.
