🐻 A Little Bear With A Big Meaning 🐻

This tiny 3-inch-high keyring memory bear was collected today, ready to be reunited with the other two memory bears we made earlier this year. ❤️

This little bear has to be one of the most challenging we have ever created! Due to its tiny size, every single piece had to be cut, positioned and sewn entirely by hand, making this a real labour of love. 🧵🧸

Although small in size, this little bear carries just as much love and meaning as its larger companions. We were absolutely delighted to hear how thrilled our customer was with her newest keepsake.

🤠 Something a little different from Cherished Bears by Pam! 🤠

This skirt has been something completely new for us, and we’ve absolutely loved creating it!

We started with a pair of ladies’ jeans and carefully cut and reshaped them to create the style we wanted. We then took an assortment of fabrics, cut and hemmed them into individual handkerchief-style pieces, before attaching them to the altered jeans.

To finish it off, we added some pretty trim — and this was the result! 💕

A fun, unique cowgirl-style skirt, perfect for a country music night, festival or even a good old-fashioned hoedown! 🤠🎶

We love taking existing clothing and fabrics and giving them a completely new lease of life. If you have an idea for something different, why not get in touch?

🎄✨ A Very Special Advent Calendar ✨🎄

We were recently approached by a lovely lady who asked if we could create something very special for her son — a handmade advent calendar that could be enjoyed now and, one day, passed down through the family as a treasured Christmas heirloom.

Using the beautiful red, green and white felt she had requested, we created the front of the calendar and added a pretty red and white star cotton fabric to the reverse, giving it a lovely finished look.

We are absolutely delighted to say that our customer was thrilled with the finished calendar. In fact, she loved it so much that she has already asked us to create another one — this time a more grown-up version for her older son! ❤️

We can’t wait to get started on the next one, so keep watching our page to see the finished design when it’s ready to share.

🎀 A Birthday Treat Made With Love 🎀

We were delighted to make this lovely shoulder bag for a customer as a special birthday treat to herself. 💕

Made from recycled pink and blue jeans, we also repurposed a denim belt to create the strap, giving this bag a unique and practical finish.

Inside, we added a beautiful owl-print lining, which can also be found inside the zipped pocket. The bag has been designed to sit comfortably against the body, making it a practical choice while also giving that little bit of extra security for keeping cash and cards close and secure.

Our customer was absolutely delighted with her birthday treat — and we were thrilled to create something that was not only beautiful but also upcycled, useful and completely unique. 🦉💗💙

💜 Another Bespoke Up cycled Tote Bag 💜

Here at Cherished Bears by Pam, we’ve always been passionate about upcycling and giving fabrics and clothing a new lease of life. So, when Nichola approached us and asked if we could create a denim tote bag with a pretty purple floral lining, we were delighted to oblige.

We started with a straight denim skirt, adding pockets from different pairs of jeans to create a unique and practical design. We then searched through our collection of surplus fabrics and found the perfect material for Nichola — a beautiful lilac and purple floral cotton that we knew she would love. 💜

To finish the bag, we added a 9-inch lilac zip, which complemented the floral lining perfectly.

The finished tote measures approximately 19 inches wide by 17 inches long, making it a lovely, spacious and practical bag for everyday use.

We’re absolutely delighted to say that Nichola was thrilled with her new tote bag, and we hope she gets lots of use from it. 🥰

We were delighted to welcome back a returning customer who asked us to create another very special keepsake bear.

Earlier this year, after sadly losing her beloved husband in January, we had the privilege of creating a memory bear that brought her great comfort. This time, she wanted to honour his sister with a keepsake of her own, made from the same precious clothing, but with a feminine design.

Yesterday she returned to collect ‘Wendy’, the beautiful name she had chosen for this special bear. It was an incredibly emotional collection, and we were so touched by how delighted she was with the finished keepsake. She loved Wendy so much that she also ordered one of our keepsake keyring bears, allowing her to carry a treasured memory wherever she goes.

It is a true privilege to create these meaningful keepsakes and to help preserve precious memories for families.
