A little bit of sunshine can make a big difference to many 🌼

Daffodils make me smile and bring me right back to being 7/8 and planting them with Papa Robert in cold Novembers, then being desperate to see what ones grew and where, because we could never remember where we put them exactly 🙈. The daffodils from then are still growing all these years later. So are the willows we secretly planted in Dad’s garden to see how long it would take him to notice 😂 it took a few years before we heard ‘when the heck did those trees grow there? 🙈

Looking forward to coming down so we can get our selection of flowers for our shop pots 🌺🌷🪻🌼

This weather is just UGH! But, according to the forecast, we just need to hang on and wait a few more days for it to clear and for the sun to shine 🤞🏽🤞🏽 more days like this one from a couple of months ago would do just nicely (maybe a warmer wind chill 🥶)

Over the next month, things ramp up ALOT for everyone in the shop. Between school holidays, more visitors to the islands, family coming home, HEAPS of new stock arriving and lambing kicking off, April is set to be a busy month and we’re here for it ❤️

In the meantime, enjoy these blue skies in the video 💙 we haven’t seen them for a while but they’re not far away either x

Tonka bean & Amber - my all time favourite fragrance for my home, and heaps of our customers' homes too ❤️

Once you smell this fragrance you'll be hooked! It's now back in stock and we have added the room mist, with two more additions coming soon to complete the full set.
Sometimes rooms mists smell slightly different to the candle or diffuser, but not this one, has aced it!

These are all now available on our website and in the shop. We're opening Monday > Friday 9am > 5pm and Saturday 10am > 4pm.

Effort. Time. Sentiment

In our mail last week, we received all of that from a past customers’ son and a piece of paper that would usually have been thrown in the bin. From this receipt, Papa Robert got to see his father’s hand writing again and we got to see a part of the shops history that we’d never see before. How special is that ❤️

Papa is writing back to Stuart to thank him for his lovely letter and the effort he made to forward it on to us.

I’ll make a reel soon showing the process that customers went through to order around about the time of this receipt. It certainly took a lot longer than ‘one click’ and it took a looot of patience 🕰️

Christmas opening times 🎄🎄

A little late in posting this but normal opening hours right up to Christmas with the addition of Sunday 21st ❤

Our last day for guaranteed Christmas delivery online/posting will be Friday 19th December. We will keep our fingers crossed for good weather so that we can still post things on Saturday 20th too.
