Cobbling together a cardigan for my little man in the hope he will wear it for his Christmas photos. The colourwork chart that I made didn’t quite math but honestly I kind of like that it is not perfect. Also next time I am totally steeking as working colourwork flat is hell for me. I am about to start the ribbing at the bottom and then start on the big fold over collar which is going to be short row hell, now do I do German short rows or Japanese short rows? Thoughts welcome!

Making a for my little boy coz we love rainsbows and am obsessed with this. I had to figure some stuff out for his size and seeking but so far so good! Amazing design by .and.pine.designs, there are so many versions of things you can make with this as well!

So making a cardigan for a 6 year old....long story...and I decided in my infinite wisdom to make it in seed stitch. Needless to say I regret my choices! It is looking pretty cook but will finish it before showing everyone.

I have been poorly so had the day off work and did some spinning. I have had this braid for 4 years, it is a bit felted as I didn't know ywt how to handle it when dying, but it spun lovely. I hope I get to ply it soon!
It will end up a for my little boy, all the other fibre is spun and ready, this is the last bit!
