What a weekend! Beautiful weather ☀️😎

For me though it's been spent working, it's been a tough few days 🥵, A heavy 4.00x9.00 metre lounge carpet with some furniture to work around, a full 2 bed flat of carpet and vinyl with 4 home visits/ quotes.

These jobs were completed exactly as planned (1 even ahead of schedule), plenty of prior organisation and communication with customers means there's very little chance of issues on the day of fitting.

Below are the final messages received from customers this weekend which I think proves the extra work I put in behind the scenes make the process as smooth and pleasant as possible for you guys, the customer.

Are you thinking of replacing your carpets but unsure where to start? 🤷🏻‍♂️

From day 1 of starting J.Peek Flooring I set myself a few rules that I swore I'd never deviate from, below is one of them ⬇️

NEVER become a slimy salesman. I will never upsell or push a particular product, it's your house and your money. I'm here to give honest and professional advice on products and make sure you're happy and comfortable with the final decision.

Here's a photo from a job completed this week, a high end quality carpet installed on fresh grippers and underlay, bleach cleanable and a nice dense pile makes this a perfect carpet choice for a high foot traffic area 👌🏻

This job was from a recommendation from Hudsons Painting, Decorating & Design , as per usual a top notch decorating job 💪🏻

Anyway onto the flooring,

Couple of bits of vinyl supplied and fitted in this rental, fully stuck to the floor for longevity and sealed up around the edges to contain any spillages.

This wetroom vinyl was at the end of its life span, I was asked to get this replaced 🙂

Old flooring uplifted, sub floor repaired and smoothed, supplied and installed new non slip vinyl, disposed of all waste and all sorted in 1 day 💪🏼

This was a job on behalf of Elsey Contracting Services Ltd , these guys cover pretty much everything so if you're struggling to get those jobs done yourself it may be worth a chat 📞

I was recently asked if I could help with some new flooring over the christmas period for Little Discoverers , they are a local charity who provide early therapy/ education for young children who have movement difficulties and delayed development.

With the flooring being gifted from another generous donation, I donated my time and labour to get this floor space transformed

We uplifted the current carpet tiles which unfortunately were loose and failing creating trip hazards, sanded/ ground down the sub floor, installed a flexible smoothing compound to get the floor nice and flat, and lastly fitted new carpet and vinyl to get this room ready for the kids.

Here's a job completed earlier this week 👌🏻, Customer requested stripes, We supplied and fitted stripes 😎

All old materials uplifted and disposed of, new metal door thresholds, a good dense 10mm underlay suitable for high traffic areas and a tight pile striped carpet, finished off with a hoover and minimal disruption 🦍

This property needed new flooring throughout, something suitable for a rental but enough comfort to feel like a home 🏡

The carpet is bleach cleanable, stain resistant and fitted on a nice 10mm underlay to try and help level out the uneven floor boards 👣

The vinyl is a felt backed option which is more durable than a cushion backed option, ideal for this situation, It's sealed around the edges to keep it water tight, and a light mop every now and then will keep this looking lovely 👌🏻
