It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

Can’t decide if I prefer the thinner sparkle cord or the thicker one for the tree bunting? Loving the light and peacock blue combo though, that’s my favourite so far.

What colour are your Christmas tree decorations this year?

Having a break from the Blanket Of Doom, macrame and the wire cord to have a play with a new pattern just in time for the winter weather. It’s going ……..well lol more pics tomorrow if I can get the motivation!

Also in other news I’ve been designing a Christmas tree bunting pattern for both ready made and kit form and they will be available at the end of October, quite in love with these tbh and can’t wait to show you the finished product.

Some pictures from today’s workshop, a massive thanks to The Black Sheep and Dog for organising it for us and the other 4 craft ladies. A massive 22 people all learnt 5 new crafts in one day and made some fabulous items. I’m enjoying a well earned relax now 🙂

Busy busy today

Large single standing or hanging letters with a simple decoration £9.

One of the most complex to work out things I’ve made recently but I just adore the finished item. Going to be hard to let these go as they are just so cute 😍. They will be at the craft market on the 12th organised by The Black Sheep and Dog in Patrington at the village hall so pop over and have a look

Set comprises a large Perspex toiletries box with 3 separate compartments and a clear lid with a hand knotted macrame outer and flower decoration, and a matching lined pot that would be perfect for tweezers or makeup brushes.

I do have one more of the Perspex containers if you would prefer a different outer or decoration.

Been so busy lately making new items for events locally from now until Christmas and the prizes for the upcoming Thornegumbald pet dog show 🙂

Meet Augustus!

This little dude from knot theory shop has been on the project list for a while. Finally got round to making him but not really loving the pattern in the cord I used. I did him from 3mm cord not the 2mm in the pattern as the 3mm is easy to work with (and I didn’t want to buy 2mm til i did a practice) but I want to scale him up to 4 or even 5mm cord then put a small bag of sand inside as a doorstop. Now Augustus is partly done 2mm cord is on order for paperweights and shelf decor 🙂 he just needs some leaves and pumpkins to complete the Autumn look 🍂🎃🍂

A little reminder of summer 🙂 no matter how lacking a green thumb you are these will give a splash of colour all year round. Available The Black Sheep and Dog in Patrington and can be made with any colour flowers. (There’s will be poinsettia and mistletoe at Christmas but let’s focus on summer for now)
