Hocus pocus!

This bootiful item has received its makeover and is ready to take centre stage at Soap from the heart for Magical Fairy Creations upcoming fundraising raffle for Aim Higher.

Who could resist this for a £1 ticket?

There's a final goal of £5000 to be raised and it's inching closer day by day thanks to the generosity of local visitors to the store.

Good luck and thank you for asking me to decorate the boot for it's raffle debut. Or should that be de-boot?

A desktop cat bed! Who'd have thought?

Millie was introduced to it with the aid of catnip. She's still in it now! Snoozing 😴😴

Perfect solution to her tiptoeing all over my worktop when she wants to be in on the action. Now she has a front row seat 😂😂

Who knew woollen hearts could be sooo cute?

Little "wands" of wool, floral, ribbony, beady and buttony cuteness. I've loved making these this afternoon. A bit of faffery. Well, a lot of faffery but a joy to make...

These will be going to Soap from the heart tomorrow to sit prettily upon my shelf. If you're passing pop in and buy one. They're only £3 each! Bargain!

Lesson learned - the hard way 😵‍💫

I had the idea to spray paint my polystyrene head.

3 coats in and it's STILL not covering well. So I thought I'd spray closer than the recommended 12". Went on nicely, covered brilliantly. "Ooo, job done" I thought.

10 mins later went to check on the results to find the head badly pitted. Oops, obviously spray paint MELTS polystyrene. If too close to it.

So back to the drawing board 🤔

Acrylic paint with a brush is the solution methinks. And a new head. A cheaper option, too 🤷
