It’s been a little quiet from me on here lately — promise I haven’t vanished. I’ve just been knee‑deep in gardening, spring cleaning, and making a whole load of wreaths and home‑decor pretties that haven’t even made it to the page yet.

Just sharing my latest creations - not crafting exactly but certainly creating beautiful surroundings at home for the summer. The planting has begun. Hedge cutting (phase 1 of 3) was done yesterday. Tubs topped up. Everything is looking summer ready so bring on the sun for the colours to show up.
I'm off for a well earned cuppa and a hot bubble bath to ease my aching bones 🛁

A little love letter to my husband’s guitar studio.

Who knew a radiator cover could have this much swagger?

I took a simple white radiator cover and transformed it into a funky feature for my husband’s guitar studio.

Black paint, red velvet fabric and marble vinyl… a little labour of love that turned “blah” into “BAM” 🔥💥

Proof that even the most boring bits of a room can become total show‑stoppers.

Now it's studio‑ready and giving rock‑star energy 🎸🤟

🧵✨ A Little Creative Time-Out ✨🧵

Just taking a bit of time out these last few days — nothing dramatic, just a cosy mix of sewing, giving a tired old frame a new lease of life, and tackling a few bits around the house.

Sometimes a mini reset is exactly what the creative brain needs.
A stitch here, a revamp there… it all adds up to a calmer mind and a happier home.

I’ll be back soon — hopefully with a freshly transformed frame and a few new makes to share. Stay tuned. 💛

Right… I’ve faffed, tweaked, re‑tweaked and accepted that I’m no florist — but this is it.
The rose garland vision has finally landed, boosted with extra blooms and greenery for maximum oomph.

She’s now sitting proudly between the two huge topiary balls and honestly… the house feels summer‑ready already.

Until the next wreath creation…

It didn't make it out of the bag!
I cut my cakes into little bite sized slices then every time I pass I scoop up a piece. Lush 👌👌
