It's launch day for 2 new Craft Consortium Ltd collections over on HobbyMaker today!

I shared a wee sneak peek of Olivia's Wildflower Adventures the other day so here's the full card.

The first at 2pm which introduces Strawberry Tea, a limited edition series designed by the fabulous Helz Cuppleditch (I'll be sharing some of those makes soon!) and a second show at 6pm introducing Olivia's Wildflower Adventure, which is the second limited edition series designed by Karinartspace.

Both collections come in an 8x8 pad which contains plain and patterned paper with toppers and elements to cut out as well as stamp sets to compliment your makes. There are lots of elements from the essentials range from Craft Consortium which work well with these papers too - I used the enamel heart embellishments in this one.

Time is flying by and you might be thinking of Mother's Day if you're in the UK (it's on 15th March in case you forgot 😉)

To give a bit of mother's day inspiration I thought I'd share a card I made for the launch of The Collector by Craft Consortium

As soon as I saw the ladies cigarette card styled ephemera I immediately thought of mums everywhere doing all these jobs on a daily basis so it made sense to make a card for all the mums out there! You can find all the products I used over at www.craftconsortium.com

Of course this card could be adapted to fit any lady from sister to granny, and I know a few childminders who this would be perfect for - you know who you are 😉

Which lady is most like you? Don't be shy! Obviously I like to feel I'm very like the queen but I'm definitely more of a driver 🚕😂

Have a look at Paula's new website, it's full of beautiful kilts and makes from a very talented lady (and her students!)

If you ever wanted to learn a new skill this is definitely one which would be well worth it.

One of these days I'll need to pop along and try my hand at making a kilt - she's just at the other side of the village so I've no excuse 🫣

Today is launch day over on HobbyMaker for Craft Consortium Ltd new collection, The Collector.

This card uses one of the card embellishments which are reminiscent of the cigarette cards from days gone by. It uses one of my favourite flowers, the snowdrop, and as the sentiment implies there is beauty in simplicity. This card was made by scoring a line round the edge to create a raised focus and the card and sentiment were layered onto gold mirror card for a simple but effective card.

You can catch today's shows at 2pm and 6pm and get a sneak preview on craft o clock at 12 noon 😉

My next project is one that anyone can do. I took a Christmas card box and upcycled it to become a keepsake box - perfect for those love letters you want to save 😉

I covered it with papers from Craft Consortium's The Collector 12x12 paper pad and added a stack of postcards to the top which were fussy cut from one of the pages. I then added a few of the stamp rub ons and a page from the 6x6 pad added to the base inside to strengthen the box a bit.

I gave you a wee sneak peek yesterday so here's the first of my completed projects for the latest Craft Consortium Ltd collection which launches on Monday 12th January on HobbyMaker

This card uses a mixture of the beautiful papers which I cut into various sized rectangles and layered onto champagne non shed glitter card. I die cut and shaped flowers and foliage to frame one of the images from the 12x12 pad and added gold pearls to the flower centres and finally added a few rub ons to the main image.

This collection is perfect for all your crafty projects from cards and journals to mixed media.
