~ FLOW ~
When I designed my en-suite, I didn’t start with tiles — I started with the throw on the bed in the adjoining bedroom. That soft, earthy olive became the anchor point for the entire space.
Carrying that colour through creates a visual thread between bedroom and bathroom, allowing the spaces to feel connected rather than separate. The wall tone, towels and mat all quietly echo the original fabric, creating harmony without overpowering the room.
Flow in interiors isn’t about everything matching — it’s about everything relating.
I paired the warmth of the green with crisp white terrazzo flooring. Terrazzo is one of my favourite choices for small rooms:
• The light base reflects natural and artificial light
• The subtle fleck adds texture without visual heaviness
• The continuous pale surface helps blur boundaries, making the room feel larger and more open
In compact spaces, simplicity and cohesion are what create impact.
A calm earthy palette. A connected story. Design is all about flow.
