There has been a little bit of everything going on behind the scenes at Duo Vela this week! 🥰

🧹 Looking after our lovely clients -
We have been visiting our regular clients as usual, keeping homes fresh, tidy and inviting. We're so lucky to work with such lovely people! 🩵

🎄 Getting a little festive -
We have also been busy working on our Christmas collection for the Duo Vela website! ✨ We are excited about what we have been putting together and can't wait to share a little festive magic with you. Keep your eyes peeled! 👀🎁

🤎 Cacao breaks -
One of our lovely clients makes us the most delicious cacao, and we have to say, she really is the Cacao queen! 👑😂 Those little breaks during a busy week are something special and much appreciated. ☕️🤎

🎃 A spooky half term -
With the kids off school we have been squeezing in some spooky activities and making the most of a little Halloween fun. 👻🕸️ Pumpkin carving and even a visit to Newhaven Fort for a family ghost hunt with P.I.G.S which the kids LOVED!

🥂 And something a little different just for us -
We were very lucky to have been able to enjoy a w**e and Zoom Q&A evening with Ian Lawman from Help! My House Is Haunted. As two people who are fascinated by all things paranormal, we had such a lovely time hearing about Ian’s experiences! 👻✨ A big thank you to Nicola for organising such a brilliant evening. We really enjoyed it! 🩵

Now it's your turn! What have you been up to this week? And be honest… are you already thinking about Christmas, or are you still firmly in spooky season mode? 🎃🎄😂

Happy Halloween & weekend from us both! 🩵✨

🐾 SUPERVISOR OF THE MONTH — ELLIOT! 🧡

We couldn’t resist giving this cheeky boy his moment in the spotlight! 😂

Our lovely client describes Elliot as “such a lovely boy and a gentle soul” and we couldn’t agree more. 🥰

Elliot always knows when we have arrived and loves to keep himself busy rallying between us and his lovely humans while we get on with the cleaning. He’s fantastic company, loves his food and clearly thinks supervising is a very important part of the job! 😂🐾

We are very lucky to meet so many lovely furry friends through Duo Vela!

Well done, Elliot! 🐾✨

To-do lists… love them or hate them? 👀

Are you the person who writes everything down and gets immense satisfaction from ticking things off? ✅

Or do you write a list, lose the list, or somehow end up adding more things than you actually crossed off?

We LOVE a good list!! So satisfying 😆

What's the one thing that's been sitting on your to-do list for far too long? 👇🩵

✨A little Duo Sunday reset… ✨

Today we swapped our usual Sunday routines for some much-needed me time and spent the afternoon at the most beautiful Neon Soul workshop with Christine & Rachel. Neon Soul Wellness & Events💜

We enjoyed a lovely combination of Reiki healing, meditation, an oracle card circle and an amazing sound bath and honestly, we came away feeling so rejuvenated, refreshed and ready for a new week! ✨

Giving ourselves a few hours to breathe, be present, practice gratitude and recharge has felt really wholesome and healing.

When you are busy working and looking after everyone else, it’s easy to forget to make time for yourself. Today was a lovely reminder that it’s okay to press pause too. 🩵

A HUGE thank you to Christine & Rachel for creating such a beautiful afternoon. We absolutely loved it and would definitely recommend giving yourself the opportunity to experience something like this if you get the chance. 💫 We will definitely be back! 🥰

If you are local and fancy some time to pause, reset or explore something new, we highly recommend checking out what they do. 💜 We have also popped their details on the final slide so you can find them easily.

Now feeling refreshed and ready for the week ahead! Let’s go🩵

Is it just us, or do you get that real feeling of comfort and satisfaction from finding your new favourite mug? ☕️💜

You know the one… the mug you automatically reach for every morning because somehow your coffee just tastes better in it. 😂

Our new Purple Pastel Skies Mug has definitely given us that feeling. ✨

There’s something about those little everyday things that can make moments and home rituals that little more special and we think this one is pretty magical. 💫

Now available in our Home Comforts collection. 🩵
