So here it is, my FIRST EVER COMMISSION 🎨🖌️🦩 🐣 and it’s one that’s especially close to my heart ❤️

A post natal therapist in the US reached out to me on Etsy to draw this set of three prints showing a mummy flamingo slowly getting her pink back as her baby grows.
We all know that flamingos lose their pink when they feed their chicks but over time it comes back. It’s one of the only animals to show a physical representation of what all women who have given birth / fed their babies go through and they are an inspiration.

This little flamingo helped me through some hard times and it’s an absolute honour to have been asked to draw this set to hang in the office of a post natal therapist. If my drawings give hope to even one woman that she will feel like herself again then my heart will be full.
