AD. Part 2 of making over my decking with , this time taking it from colourful daytime space to a space perfect for both day and night-time! 

I’ve added the Gening gazebo (part of the GoodHome range), and it’s such good quality! It took us about an hour to erect it, it was really straightforward and has built-in solar powered LED lights and those side curtains so you can make it as cosy as you want. 

A couple of throws to keep warm as the evening draws in and I think the 4-seater Aconite modular corner set is the perfect place to while away the summer evenings, don’t you? I also love how it has built-in rain covers for when the British weather does its thing. We don’t have a garage and only a tiny shed, so it is a great space saver for us to be able to leave the cushions out.

AD. What a difference some good furniture can make hey?! 

This decking has been crying out for a good overhaul, it was looking tired and grubby. So I have given it a little tlc, and the best bit is, absolutely everything I needed came from  

First off, I gave everywhere a really good clean with my pressure washer (it’s the Mac Allister M3 pressure washer), and gave things a good refresh, then styled up the space with the pieces I got in store from their Coastal Cheer range – really bringing those Mediterranean Amalfi vibes, I love it!! 

The furniture set is the Aconite 4 seater modular corner coffee set and it is perfect for this space, you can use it as a corner set, or separate the benches too. The benches have a built-in sun lounger feature AND built-in rain covers, which are soooo useful if you don’t have storage space for cushions - which we don’t! 

I finished off the space with the GoodHome Egg BBQ in orange, it is such a statement piece, I can’t wait for some amazing BBQs this summer!

Here are Some stills of my recently decorated family room/ playroom - I’m not sure I’ve actually shared these before, with labels of where everything is from :)

I’ve played with colour in here to make a calming space with a sense of play in it, and I think it’s worked! We needed new storage too (to store all the Lego we have!) and I think I’ve managed to do it in a way which doesn’t overpower the room.

AD Can you believe this tiny console table grows into a huge table suitable for a proper feast around?!

I have been looking for the perfect dining table for a while as ours was getting very old and tired and as soon as I saw I knew it was perfect for us. Not only does it look amazing but being able to change it’s size depending on what we need is so useful.

We’re a family of four so don’t need it to be huge most of the time, but we do a lot of hosting so being able to stretch and shrink it to our needs is amazing, the fact that the benches do the same is also magic!

Storing the excess panels is made easy with the storage coffee table too – it’s all so easy!

Sharing this little craft from last month again because I love it so much but also this audio made me laugh - it’s me! 😂

I used this audio on a trial reel of my decoupage door edge too and it’s gone crazy! One person accused me to stealing the idea (like I tried to claim to have invented decoupage lol) - but for anyone who doesn’t understand how social media works, it’s about SHARING ideas! That’s literally how it works, I think it’s probably almost impossible for something to be completely unique at this point, we all take inspiration from each other and we’re just showing things we have done - I would never get annoyed because someone did something similar to something I’ve done in a post because that’s the whole point isn’t it? And also two people can have the same idea without seeing the others - that’s also possible too 😅

So if you see my stuff and you want to try it, please do, and share what you’ve done far and wide! And if your brain comes up with something similar mine, welcome to the crazy brain club 😅

Imagine if you posted something with the proviso that no one else must do anything similar, ever, or else….😅
