August has been a fun month. It started off catching up on admin, work and family. I've had a lovely week off work, deepening friendships, building relationships, visiting community hubs, hanging out with the ICCC _International Liverpool Hub and networking for Kingdom Business Liverpool

It comes with different admin.

Looking forward to more family time this weekend.

This month is all about practising patterns of rest and retreat despite the busyness. Which is why I'm posting this. Some of you might be wondering where I've been!

is a powerful creative ministry by Sophie Green from .studio which brings people together in community to explore Biblical scripture through the creative arts.

The first two sessions were fully booked. So make sure to sign up early for the next sessions to avoid disappointment. Monday 20th July is the next one.

Still buzzing over last Saturday. It's not often that you get to write a poem and perform it on the same day!

Here's the second one:

"Broken fragments, charred remains"

Inspired by the reconstructed windows after WWII at Church of our lady and St Nicholas and the cross made from the salvaged wreckage of St Peter's Church, which used to be in the city centre on Church Street.

Have you thought of all the luggage you're carrying? Perhaps it's time to put some of it down and find release:

- Bitterness
- Unforgiveness
- Self-doubt
- Feelings of inadequacy
- Anxiety

Time to let go of some stuff, pick up your boarding pass and get on the plane.... where will your imagination take you....?

Then let's turn that dream into a reality!

It was lovely meeting you !
uk Summit was an incredible blend of creativity, the prophetic, reflections on the importance of Church unity, God's heart for our towns and cities transformed socially, culturally and spiritually.

An interesting counterpoint to conversations about politics, civic engagement and the Church as a unified voice speaking truth to power, challenging social injustice. As Mark Cowling from the .uk team was explaining, we need community engagement and systems enablement.

We honour the contributions, unique calling and gifting of every individual. We remember those on the margins who are socially excluded, voices silenced, or crushed under oppression. Because it takes all of us working together to transform a city, society and nation, wholistic health and flourishing that looks like God's Kingdom. It starts where we are, stewarding what is in our hands.

Thank you, Chris, for sharing your gift with us and the world, the stories you shared about all the lives touched by a piece of art and a compassionate conversation in a café, pub, or on a pavement.

Thank you for choosing Liverpool as a city to declare unity over. This image of the wave, the Holy Spirit outpouring, will mean a lot to those of us working towards Church unity in different ways, at both church leader and grassroots/community level.

Today was a successful day of visiting community spaces ! I met with friends at where we chatted and got to see some of Mike's paintings on display.

No time to do art today as we were too busy chatting! Thank you for the wonderful fruits and cakes!

Then we headed off to where we tried to spot the silhouettes of our friends on 's striking piece of community art, tried some 'spring specials' - including the rhubarb lemonade, which tasted like candy.

I was extremely impressed by the art on display at including some incredible contemporary pieces by my little friend Nori, aged 2 ! Not to be outdone by her brother Ollie, age 5, and his artistic rendition of a scene from 'Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs'... can you spot the burger machine ?
