We ran our beautiful shop in Willaston on the Wirral for 11 years .. after selling the shop this summer, we have decided to run a little sister business. We will be having a stall at our quarterly farmers market ( date and venue for the next one to be decided )
We will be selling all things bespoke and beautiful ❤️

Our family have been overwhelmed with all the lovely messages this week from people who loved our shop White Feather .❤️ It has literally brought us to tears with the thoughts and well wishes . Thank you so much ❤️

As you know, most of our customers became our friends over the years. The shop became a hub for people to chat and tell you their stories .. happy or sad, and the reasons why they were buying a certain card or gift .. it was so lovely ❤️

We have a little idea .. could you all post a little memory of what you bought in White Feather that’s a real memory and the story behind why you bought it ? We would so love to hear from you, and it would truly mean the world ❤️

The most heartfelt story will receive a White Feather Home and Gifts goodie basket full of beautiful things from our shop , as a thank you for taking the time to write something ❤️

Thank you so much for all the wonderful messages we received yesterday . We read each and every message and they really did bring us to tears ❤️
It was such a hard day yesterday selling our shop .. much tougher than we thought it would be .
I suppose it’s been a big part of our lives for so long and has helped us through some tough times .. and of course lots of sunshiny happy times too ❤️

We shall miss all our special customers , who really did become our friends ❤️

So tomorrow our lovely shop White Feather Home and Gifts will be sold . We have been looking back at all the photos from all the lovely times we had in our shop and it makes us feel quite emotional ❤️

We opened our small shop with my sister Jayney in 2014 .. after I had lost my husband Mal very tragically in 2012 . Running the shop gave me a focus and kept me busy over a very sad time . The people we met along the way were truly wonderful and inspired me to keep going . After running the small shop for several years I met Martin ! ❤️ We decided we needed a bigger shop and we were lucky that a lovely premises had come up for sale two doors down . We bought the old solicitors office and we doubled the size of our shop floor. It was a magical time and my sister Jayney and I ran the shop together. Dan my son and my niece Laura often helped . We loved doing events for charity .. it had a lovely atmosphere and was always so busy on these events ❤️
I hope you have enjoyed our shop in the village. Maybe you have a little White Feather treasure that you bought from us or received as a gift, that will always remind you of us ❤️
Our decision to close was due to the fact that both Jayney and myself, Jilly fell ill . Jayney had skin cancer and I had breast cancer . It was such a shock and it did make us reassess our lives . We are both ok now , but have chosen to retire and enjoy every single moment with our families and friends ❤️
Just as I was diagnosed we were awarded the gold award for Home and Interiors at the Wirral life Awards at the Titanic Hotel in Liverpool . It was a total surprise and truly couldn’t have come at a better time to cheer us up ❤️

We would like to thank all our gorgeous customers who supported us throughout all the 11 years we were in the village . We truly do miss our customers and hope you miss us a little bit ❤️

We still live in the village so you will still see us around to say hi and have a little chat .

Thank you to our lovely shop White Feather we will miss you very much .

If shops had a soul White Feather really did have a beautiful one .

As most of you will know .. our lovely shop White Feather Home and Gifts closed quite a while ago . We are in the final process of selling the shop .
It’s quite an emotional thing to do but as many of you will know the reasons we closed , it is definitely the right thing 🥰 We are so grateful for all your lovely messages .

We are selling some of our fittings off and our two signature chandeliers are up for sale . They are £500 for the two .
You need a high ceiling house for these light fittings .

If you are interested .. message me and let me know . They have to go this week ❤️
