Fry an egg in butter and season with salt n pepper powder.

Toast the bread slices and smear butter

Spread avacado on top. Drizzle honey. Place the egg on top. Slice in to traingles and serve.

How do you boil sweet potatoes?

Do it in the microwave and its natural sweetness as well as all the goodness will stay intact.

☘️Cut the sweet potatoes in to halves or just make a few slits on them and just microwave in full power for 15mins. Turn and microwave the other side a few minute.

☘️Press down and check if they are soft.

Hey! Try this easy jelly dessert and see the excitement it creates among your friends, guests, or family, especially the kids!

🌻You just need to make jelly the usual way following the instructions on the packet.

Mix 2 tbsp of gelatin with ¼ cup of cold water, then add it to the jelly you just made and boil further a minute or two. Let it cool completely.
This will make your jelly firm rather than wobbly.

Pour it into a square dish and place it in the fridge until fully set.

🌻Next:
Dissolve 1 tbsp of gelatin in ¼ cup of cold water and add it to ½ cup of condensed milk.

Simmer for a few minutes, then let it cool completely.

Take the set jelly out of the fridge, pour the condensed milk mixture over it, and return it to the fridge.

After about an hour, your jelly dessert is ready to serve!

🌻Cut into dainty squares and serve in elegant cut glass dessert bowls.

Look what I found at an Indian shop!

I’m quite excited to have come across this great and very practical jug for making tea.

Its long handle makes it safer to use, and the deep jug can easily hold up to three cups of tea.

Since I’ve stopped using tea bags and switched to loose tea leaves, this is one of the best finds I’ve had lately.

Pol roti පොල් රොටී

Sri Lankan coconut rotis made with Ata flour. Came out super soft and delicious!

What I added into the dough?

Both fresh and dessiccated coconuts, chopped onions, chopped curry leaves, green chillies, chilli powder , little butter and salt to ata flour. Then by adding warm water little by little and mixed all together.

පොල් සහ ඩෙසිකේට් පොල් දෙකම, ලූනු, කපාගත් කරපිංචා, අමුමිරිස්, මිරිස් කුඩු, බටර් සහ ලුණු අටා පිටි වලට එක් කරන්න. ඉන්පසු ලා උනුවතුර ටික ටික එකතු කරමින් සියල්ල හොඳින් මිශ්‍ර කරන්න.

Tomato relish🍅

In hot oil splutter mustard seeds.
Then add curry leaves, two slit green chillies
Now add onions
Once the onions are soft, add chopped tomatoes
Do not close. Fry.
When properly cooked add chilli powder , salt, turmeric powder and sugar to balance the taste.
Yum!

තෙල් වලට අබ ඇට දාන්න.
ඊළඟට කරපිංචා සහ දෙකට කපපු අමු මිරිස් එකතු කරන්න.
දැන් ලූනු එකතු කරන්න.
ලූනු බැදුනාට පසු කපාගත් තක්කාලි එකතු කරන්න.
වහන්න එපා.
හොඳින් ෆ්‍ර්‍ය් උනාම මිරිස් කුඩු, ලුණු, කහ කුඩු සහ සීනි එකතු කරන්න.

Very light and colourful dinner!

Fried egg and vegetable stir-fry ☘️

Drop carrots and lots of chopped bell peppers into hot olive oil and stir-fry.

Toss a handful of spinach

Drop a few splashes of soy sauce, fish sauce and a little salt and pepper powder.

Delicious!
