If you’re buying off the shelf, you fit it in.

But with something bespoke?
You start there.

You choose something you really connect with and let the rest of the space follow.

I designed part of this piece using a hotel robe belt and a phone charger.

Not ideal.
But also… kind of necessary.

I was travelling and when I’m working on a project, I don’t wait for perfect conditions I need to understand how something will work right there and then.

So I test. Adjust. Rethink. Repeat.

Even if that means improvising with whatever’s around me.

Because the final piece might look effortless but it’s built on decisions no one ever sees.

Anyone else get their best ideas in the most random places?
