Starting the new year with a bang! Hearing that our project in Birmingham has been granted planning permission. This has a proposed two storey rear extension and was an ex council property. This place had very limited space however the proposed transformation will be creating 3 double bedrooms alongside internal reconfiguration to allow large open plan kitchen/diner and spacious living space.

Planning permission has been granted for this two storey side and rear extension in Newton Abbot. The proposed extension seeks to add an additional two double bedrooms and ensuite bathroom upstairs, with the addition of a downstairs toilet and large open plan entertaining space downstairs.

A contemporary family home is situated of varying topography. The front entrance creates a sense of drama via a large, glazed gable wall which is partially clad in black timber clad (Shou Sugi Ban) with white render.

Large double doors provides a glimpse from the grand hallway into the rear open plan layout. This space features expansive bi-folding doors, full height glazing and several roof lights. The bi-folding doors lead onto a roof terrace which faces the greenery and surrounding homes.
