Built from solid Scandinavian pine with chunky legs and a practical lower shelf, this bespoke coffee table was made as a custom commission piece - combining durability, simplicity and a clean rustic feel.

The thick timber construction gives it a solid, grounded look while still keeping the natural warmth and character of the wood grain visible throughout.

The lower shelf adds useful everyday storage for books, décor, baskets or living room essentials without making the design feel bulky.

This project pushed us to think differently.

Our customer needed a bed and wardrobe for her son, who has sensitivities to many materials including wood finishes, glues and plastics. The goal was simple: create something strong, practical and long-lasting using only natural solid pine with no finish applied.

So that’s exactly what we did.

✔ No stains, varnishes or coatings
✔ No MDF or plastic components
✔ Custom pine domino joints made in-house
✔ Joined using the Domino system for strength and durability
