Out of the shadows, she rises. 🕯️🌿
I am spellbound to finally share my latest pattern test for .of.needles : the Leśnica Scarf.
In the old tongue, she is the Forest Maiden, the Woodland Demon, a primal spirit woven into a triptych of sylvan designs. Alongside her siblings—Leszczyna (the Hazel) and Lesawik (the Forest Guardian)—she tells a story of the deep, untouched wild.
Look closely at her stitches. She is a tapestry of the ancient forest floor—an intricate map of winding branches, delicate leaves, and the succulent gleam of wild berries hidden in the dark.
I chose an ombre that mirrors the transformation of a pagan goddess: emerging from a midnight black, bleeding through earth-tones of chocolate and burgundy, until she erupts into a flaming, primal red. She is as much a guardian as she is a garment—mysterious, powerful, and alive.
