The video was shot with a modified Nikon Z8 camera adjusted to full spectrum, using an 850nm infrared clip-in filter on the sensor.
Thank you for the conversion and professional approach.

Although birds are the main theme, none appear in the video.

All bird and environmental sounds were recorded on an external audio interface using a stereo pair of microphones on a different day.

Apart from these recorded sounds, our voices, and the sound of vinyl crackling, all other sounds were recorded with a nylon and electric guitar through various audio effects.

Simonetta’s clothing was created by her legendary grandmother.

IN MY SHOES

I’ve been dealing with nerve pain for a long time. It feels like a constant burning and tingling in my feet. Every night it’s like I’m sleeping on rocks, covered by rocks, even breathing rocks so I usually wake up tired and not rested at all. Sometimes the pain shoots up my spine, and it can make it hard to walk fast, or sometimes even walk at all.
I’m sharing this with you as a gentle reminder that we never truly know what others are going through, and many disabilities are invisible. Let’s choose kindness whenever we can 🤍

But many times, hope that things will get better is not enough when all you can feel is pain, and any joy feels like a fraud—too far away, out of reach.
I need to meditate. I need to pray. And I cannot isolate myself because then it’s too hard to get out, and as a human, I have to go out. I need to remember to breathe. I need to fu***ng focus on my breathing all the time, or else I’ll stop and I’ll panic. I need to apologize to myself and get things right.

Oh, God, please be with me because I cannot be with myself right now.
