The finished master pieces.
So pleased for my wonderful bunch of ladies, their shades look fantastic on their beautiful bases.

This week in POP By ProMo along with normal stock I am having a sale of some lamps and shades. Some have a wee dent, but its nothing that you can see, but I can. The rest are ones that I want gone to make way for new stock. Prices start at £5 to £30.
Piece de resistance is the beautiful thistle floor lamp which has 2, not obvious, wee dents and is reduced from £90 to £55.
Remember once they've gone they're gone.
I have also reduced my waterproof decoupage shells, for this week only, to £12.

So here it is, my finished lamp base. The colours are meant to depict the seashore. Sand, white wave and sea. Hmm. You decide.
The blue was meant to be the blue in the middle of the white but that is the joy of being a beginner and not getting it quite right and trying to be too fancy. But, I will grow to love it and show it off to everyone!!
Lampshade making class is on Tuesday. Can't wait to see what fabric the ladies bring.

So, if you follow my page you will know that Im doing a collaboration with Irene at the Clay Half in Montrose. Make a lamp base with her and then make a shade with me. We are sold out for our next class but will be doing more next year.
Anyhoo, we used the coil method but next time it will be slabs.
Here are some photos of my progress. Last night I went and glazed my creation.
What colours do you think its meant to be?
Will it crack in the kiln?
Will it explode? The tension....
Everything will be revealed in the next exciting post 🫨🫨😳
