blubambu living Whilst living in Singapore during a two-year relocation, Indonesia soon became a second home.

Reclaimed teak and boat wood furniture with a modern rustic touch - BluBambu focus on high quality, unique furniture and accessories handcrafted from reclaimed materials. Weekend trips were all too easy, slipping into the idyllic lifestyle where sun, surf, a buzzing culture and friendly smiles made you all too welcome. No longer drawn by just the sandy beaches, but the discovery of this rustic, exciting and inspiring furniture scene, BluBambu Living was born. Every furniture piece we source is steeped in character and unmistakably individual. The natural symmetry, traditional furniture construction and its infectious rustic and imperfect charm, simply creates a unique piece you want to call your own. Our aim is to share a little slice of Indonesia’s vibrant furniture scene. We take care of all the sourcing and importing hassles, using local suppliers we know and trust, to provide an exciting collection that hopefully inspires you to find that perfect individual piece for your home or business.

We’re so excited to be collaborating with Becky and Sarah Kemlo for a very special Christmas wreath-making evening at BluBambu! 🎄

These talented duo, Becky & Sarah, are flower farmers and florists with a real love for the natural, the seasonal and the beautifully handcrafted - an approach to their art that feels right at home with everything we love at BluBambu.

Join us for an evening of creativity, festive foliage and a little time out to get into the Christmas spirit. You’ll create your own beautiful, natural wreath with the girls’ expert guidance, enjoy a few complimentary glasses of fizz 🥂 and share a lovely festive evening with friends.

Whether you’re a seasoned crafter or simply fancy trying something new, it’s the perfect excuse to slow down, get creative and make something special for your home this Christmas.

Ask yourself this…

When you last had a kitchen designed and installed, did you then get invited to an evening to mix with like-minded people, discover new brands, enjoy a glass of fizz (or two!) and be treated to some delicious canapés? 🥂

This is one of the things we love about being independent.

As independent businesses, we work really bloody hard to differentiate ourselves. We’re constantly thinking about how we can offer our customers something different, something special and, ultimately, build a relationship that lasts beyond the sale.

When you choose to shop local and support independent businesses, we genuinely appreciate it. And in return, we want to give something back.

WE’RE HIRING | SHOWROOM WEEKEND TEAM 🌿

We’re looking for a confident, outgoing and personable Showroom Sales Assistant to join the BluBambu team and help us bring the showroom to life at our busy weekends.

If you’re studying interior design or similar, or simply have a genuine passion for beautiful spaces and great furniture, we’d love to hear from you.

✨ What you’ll be doing
• Welcoming customers and providing a warm, friendly showroom experience
• Helping customers explore our furniture and interiors collections
• Supporting sales and answering customer enquiries
• Keeping the showroom looking its best
• Helping out with coffee and Café Bambu when required
• Being part of a small, passionate team that genuinely loves what we do

☕ Barista experience would be a bonus, but it’s absolutely not essential, we can provide training.

We’re ideally looking for someone with some retail experience, who is naturally confident with people, has great attention to detail and enjoys creating a memorable customer experience.

The role
📍 BluBambu Showroom, Lymington
🗓️ Primarily Saturdays
➕ Ad hoc weekday/weekend cover when required
💚 Perfect for a university level student and above
