Currently writing some really beautiful proposals for 2027 and it’s taken me straight back to this gorgeous set up 🤍

Something I’ve found myself talking about more and more with our couples recently is everything that surrounds the flowers.

The linen. The charger plates. The glassware. The candlelight. The shape of the table. Even the way everything feels within the setting.

Because beautiful florals are only one part of creating a really special tablescape it’s when all of those details are considered together that the whole thing starts to feel effortless.

I love being able to help our couples think beyond just “what flowers do we need?” and look at how the entire space can come together.

And this setting still has my heart an intimate dinner in the gardens like this would be such a beautiful way to begin a multi-day wedding celebration drinks and dinner the evening before, before the main wedding day begins.

There’s something so special about church weddings 🤍

Arriving early in the morning, when everything is still quiet and the light is just starting to fall across the church, and transforming the entrance with flowers before anyone arrives. These are always some of my favourite moments.

Isabelle was based in North Carolina, so much of their day was planned from afar taking her ideas, developing the floral vision together and then finally bringing everything to life here in the Lake District.

Receiving words like these afterwards means everything…

“Jess was amazing to work with throughout the entire process. Not only was she a master with the florals but she managed the whole room set up and design as well. Jess helped take my ideas and created a vision and then made it a reality. If I did it over I would absolutely choose Jess again!”

I am slowly starting to slow down after such a busy wedding season now and really enjoying having the time to look back at days like this, while also writing some truly beautiful proposals for what’s to come 🤍

A summer celebration at Silverholme.

Blue skies, views across Lake Windermere and the most beautiful setting for an outdoor ceremony.

Soft pinks, powder blues and fresh summer greens ran throughout the day, from flowers lining the aisle to abundant floral columns framing the ceremony before continuing into the marquee with relaxed garden-inspired arrangements and touches of blue.

And that dress was something else Suzanne Neville London

Elegant, romantic and full of colour summer in the Lake District at its very best.

There’s so much more that goes into designing your wedding flowers than simply choosing the flowers you love.

I’m always thinking about the venue, the time of year, how you want the day to feel and where we can create those really special moments that will completely transform the space.

For this design I wanted everything to feel like it belonged there lots of beautiful flowers, softness and movement, while still letting the venue do its thing.

And that’s always the aim. Not to fill every corner with flowers, but to know where they’ll make the biggest difference and bring everything together beautifully.
