I’m not going to lie to you, I’m having a really tough time at the moment so Fox & Daisy is very much on the back burner. Without going into details, it’s going to be an ongoing issue for quite a few months but once I’m out the other end of this tunnel you can bet I’m coming back stronger!

In the meantime, I won’t be posting too much, but I am here. I’ll be quietly working on private commissions and responding to messages. If you need anything at all, even if it’s not macrame related, I am always here!

Macrame is my escape so finding time to craft will always be important to me, but keeping up appearances on social media is not my priority right now.

Having said all this… I do have a workshop in the books for Halloween, so stay tuned for more info on that 👻 I am VERY excited for it!!

Birthday mode: Activated 🥳

Today I turn 29… somehow just one year away from 30, which feels mildly offensive if I’m honest 😅 This is the first time my birthday has felt “old” but to be completely candid… I’m so happy with where I am.

I’m feeling really grateful this year. Grateful for another trip around the sun, for the job that has given me my life back, for the people who support me, and for this little business that has brought so much joy, creativity, and connection into my life.

🌈 Q***r Business Spotlight 🌈

Today I’m celebrating Your Self-Care Sanctuary by Chelsie Dawn ✨🧡 🍊 a beautiful self-care sanctuary founded by an absolute queen, Chelsea.

Studio Dawn is all about creating a safe space to slow down, unwind and escape — through crafts, coffee, plants and connection. It’s a space built with so much care, warmth and intention, and you can feel that in everything Chelsea does.

What started with discovering macramé quickly snowballed into something really special, and she now creates stunning eco-resin homeware alongside her fibre art.

Even though we technically “compete” in the macramé world, Chelsea has never treated me like competition. She’s supported me, encouraged me, and helped give me the confidence to keep growing Fox & Daisy Designs. That kind of generosity and community is something really worth celebrating — especially during Pride ❤️🧡💛💚🩵💜

Her work is truly incredible, and I’m so excited that we’ll both be part of The Sunshine Plant Collective on 12th July, organised by Potty Houseplants 🪴

Happy Father’s Day to all those who celebrate it 🍻

Fox & Daisy is very much a family affair, and while my mum is the one you’re most likely to meet, I wanted to take a moment to celebrate my dad too.

He’s always been a constant source of love, support and encouragement — quietly cheering me on every step of the way and someone I can always count on to help me whenever needed. That does not go unnoticed.

Happy Father’s Day, Dad — I love you lots 🧡
