I fear I may have taken the “spooky” out of spooky season 😂👻

I’ve been making my crochet Halloween collection and apparently I’m firmly in the cute Halloween camp 💗

B I G G E S T 👑

Today's prompt for day 9 of is 'biggest'.

This princess blanket is the biggest thing I've ever made, and took the longest amount of time. It's a real throwback too as I made this back in the early days when I was learning to crochet. I definitely underestimated at the time how difficult it would be, all the colour changes and the mess... It's bringing back memories 😵‍💫 Then to really test my abilities I tried to freehand her name and the crown to fit into that exact spot. Wow. That was a real trial and error moment! 🫨

Despite the difficulties this one threw up at the time, I honestly love it.
I'm such a Disney princess fan and just had to make this for my girl 🥰🩷
She still has this now 🫶🏻
She's definitely more dinosaur than Disney princess these days though 😆 my youngest is currently in her princess phase and I do wonder if I could pluck up the courage to create another, her names just much more difficult to fit there 😂

If it's pastels, I'm into it.
Teal? Yup.
Beige and brown? Yeah.

Basically I like every colour I work with 😅 but one I'm really into at the moment has been this - 🩷pink & orange🧡
I originally made this sunflower wall hanging to see what it would look like and loved the colour combination so have started making bees, axolotls, fruit, birds... a whole bunch of things out of the two colours.

Day 4; favourite make - this was a super hard choice as I love everything I make but I went with these sunflower wall art pieces.

Last month I started focusing more on home decor and added these to my shop, they proved really popular and I got to make them in lots of different colours but these three colours were definitely amongst the top choices.

I love all things colour but my wardrobe is 90% black 🖤
