A lot of people ask me how I became a chainsaw carver. So this is my story of how chainsaw carving changed my life. It wasn't part of the plan and I went through quite a dark place to get here, but sometimes the unexpected paths in life are the most rewarding. I hope this inspires some of you to be open to change and trying something new. It's scary and hard work, but you never know what you are capable of until you give it a try.

If you are going through a tough time, please reach out and talk to someone. Things WILL get better, talking to someone is the first step to getting healthy again.

Another custom carving complete! I really enjoyed making this, I made it tricky by choosing to add the splash effect around the bottom but it worked out great in the end so I don't regret it. Made from pine with some gorgeous yellow grain. Already off to its new home. ☺️🐋
