Here's a quick time lapse of me doing stencil layers of a leopard portrait.
This allows me to get the exact proportions right and gives me a good base to add detail.
I have perfected this method over the years and I have a strong love for working with stencils.
This is the messy stage of a painting.
This is a five layer stencil.
Now the painting has had a good dry I'll be able to go in and start detailing and that's the fun bit.
